But the HS stream is the main stream and it has no downtime, and HS matches seem to take a lot longer than the SC2 bo3s, so the air time on the main stream is dominated by HS. Just wait until Heroes blows everything else Blizzard has made out of the water. I guarantee that game will be pulling 2-3 times what SC2 did at it's peak with 3 months of release. comparing f2p casual game with 50$ non casual game yeaaa

DEAAAD GAAAME A free moba with low mechanical requirements based on a highly recognizable and very popular franchise, it can't really help but to succeed. SC2 can never compete with games like that and the comparison is kind of dumb. But yes, HotS will completely eclipse both SC2 and HS, on my word and honour as a random person on the internet.

Yeah, theres no game I´ve spent more time on than SC 2 - except for WoW maybe - BUT recently the magic just "vanished". The SC 2 matches became to repetetive... And HS is something new at least for now. And I like it + I like the commentating.
I had the magic vanish on me before, but it always comes back. That's why I like SC2 more than any other game, because I keep coming back to it while other games lose their appeal after 2-3 months.

Heroes will be insanely popular because It's blizzard characters, I mean who doesn't want to play as illidan.
Who knows about the esport aspect though, World of Tanks has millions of players and abysmal esport numbers.

It could indeed be hard to fight your way into a market already balkanized into LoL and Dota camps. Still, I think the huge numbers that are more or less guaranteed on twitch will attract sponsors and potential prize money.

This is kind of like how wc3 players used to play 6 months into SC2.

I've seen Arthur win with a 15minute 1 base. Nothing is lost yet.

Well, Grubby is in a great position now.

Stephano should have taken a 4th earlier and transitioned to swarmhosts, he had time. Can't believe I am saying Stephano should have gone swarm hosts rofl.
