A free moba with low mechanical requirements based on a highly recognizable and very popular franchise, it can't really help but to succeed. SC2 can never compete with games like that and the comparison is kind of dumb. But yes, HotS will completely eclipse both SC2 and HS, on my word and honour as a random person on the internet. | ||

Heroes will be insanely popular because It's blizzard characters, I mean who doesn't want to play as illidan. Who knows about the esport aspect though, World of Tanks has millions of players and abysmal esport numbers. | ||

It could indeed be hard to fight your way into a market already balkanized into LoL and Dota camps. Still, I think the huge numbers that are more or less guaranteed on twitch will attract sponsors and potential prize money. | ||
