I still contend that his surprise carrier strategy was the worst idea for a planned build in a GSl final. Awful stuff.

Where is the consistency here? Every race has something retarded about it, yet people only complain when Protoss does it.

Just look at the replies to this thread after the game that was drawed, compared to...well any single game that Protoss has won this tournament (including the ones where they completely outplayed the opponents).

Ah yes the patchzerg times. Man that was an entertaining period. I always wonder if people would view that period differently if Hyun had won that GSL, considering his continued success. Because man did Sniper not look the part of a champion. Honestly, a lot of the Zergs who broke out during that time (Symbol, Life, Hyun, Byul, Scarlett) have since established themselves as pretty legit far beyond that patch. Weird thinking about that now.

And A lot of the have completley gone down the shitter. So I'd say the patchzerg thing was not completle< unjustified. Remember when gowser 3-0ed MVP... yeah...

How does that make it unjustified? The matches they were playing determined who was the better player in that specific version of the game at that specific time. Absolutely no reason to pretend they shouldn't have won what they won.
