playing straight up macro game vs terran on that map is a nightmare and JD knows that better then anyone so he decided to try something innovative - didnt work equals gg as playing while being sooo behind (once again - on that map) wouldnt work anyway

There was no need to play on, tbh. There was like a 0% chance to win this, he spent a lot of gas into the Nydus-play and it failed miserably. After a failed all-in/cheese most people tab out and I don't think it's a bad thing to do.

Yeah, that's like an Idra-esque answer, but I think you still can expect some sort of fighting spirit while being on the edge of elemination. :/

But wasn't JD's plan actually pretty good? I think I've seen Zergs use Nyduses to force Terran to split their forces before. Either you shut down the Nydus and leave your front exposed, or you get the Nydus in your base. But he got scouted and there were a ton of bunkers at the front so he failed. But I don't think it's impossible to succeed in that situation.

JD cheesed or did an all-inish build on Habitation, Alterzim and Heavy Rain. Are you trying to say all those maps are so terran favored that he needed to be so aggressive early on?

He was extremely dead if he had extended that game. He had no tech, no economy, and his opponent had both. It was either GG then or GG later, didn't affect his tournament.
