but too bad for the koreans like yoda and first who left IM going for WCS EU..
maybe they should have played some go4sc2 cups first to have a better seed for better grid luck. I mean strintern and weak for example had a pretty easy route to qualify.

Lots of unknown names made it through somehow.

but whatever

He used to be a pretty good Danish protoss on Copenhagen Wolves, but then he disappeared for a bit and I think he only came back from inactivity recently.

I have never heard of (Z)StakimaN either O.o

Maybe its just me but ever since I saw players like yoda and first abuse the ladder (mass leave games, cheese low masters to fill the 200 win quota instead of seriously playing on EU) I really wanted them to fail.

Good to see Europe holds.

They did that? Wow...Karma is a bitch :p

Oh and shouldn't the casters know that it's top 8 advances? They are still talking about Snute vs Verdi as a decider for who qualifies...

well, it is actually Blizzard's "fail" with 200wins. wihtout it, they coud have played/practiced serious on kr server instead just make 200 wins on eu for WCS EU. Blizzard announced that 200wins 3 weeks ago.

If that's true then the whole idea to give credibility to ladder has been a massive failure.
We are already bending rules regarding win-quotas smurfs and barcodes.

The point of that is that whoever wants to play in WCS EU should be a part of the EU ladder.

Instead of actually doing that they just tried to cheese the system and get around it with the least effort possible. So fuck them.

Harsh words, 3 weeks isn't that long of a time. Maybe the way they did it was faster?

alright let's nut just start this whole discussion all over again. We have a partial region lock and the wildcard qualifier being the one way in for non residents.
