O’Gaming TV is pleased to announce its new tournament that should entertain every StarCraft II Fan : NationWars.

O’Gaming TV is a famous French Web TV composed by the most active casters in France and is also renowned to have produced Ironsquid I & II.

In this new kind “NationWars”, eight countries from Europe will battle online for a juicy prize pool of $6,000 on the 17th, 18th and 19th January 2014 and every StarCraft II Fan will see the best European players defending their national flags.

The invited countries are France, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Spain, Russia, Ukraine and Poland.




The tournament will be held in two stages :

• Group stage: Dual Tournament format.
  
  • Group stage is played in All kill format in a Best of 5.
    
  • The 4 teams are split in a single bracket.
    
  • The winners of these matches will face each other in the Winner’s match.
    
  • The winner of the Winner’s match finishes first in the group and advances to Semi-finals
    
  • The losers of the initial matches face each other in the Loser’s match.
    
  • The loser of the Winner’s match and the winner of the Loser’s match will face each other in a fifth match.
    
  • The winner of the fifth match gets second place in the group and advances to Semi-finals.
  
  
  
• Playoffs : Single elimination playoffs.
  
  • Semi Finals: All kill format in a Best of 5.
    
  • Match for 3rd place: All kill format in a Best of 5.
    
  • Finals: All kill format in a Best of 7.

Each Nation will offer a Five player list for the Starcraft2 community to vote and elect three amongst them. You get to vote for the best players of each selection, and give them a chance to stand for their country and colours! Votes will occur during the whole month of December, stay tuned for the beginning of the votes on Sunday 8th of December.
