I was wondering the same at Dreamhack. Burrow is readily available and a good baneling mine can easily turn the tide of an entire game, even if it's just successful once.

And if it is not successful? You lose 1-3 banelings for a mule. Not bad. I hope we start to see it more.

Yeah exactly. I just don't really see the downside too it. I mean, I wouldn't want anyone to go off burrowing 14-20 banelings across the map that can be used in a fight, but something like 2-6 in crucial spots should be really useful most of the time I feel

It's like spreading creep in your main, it's a really good thing on paper but so few zergs do it.

Embarrassing for MMA. Losing a series to Vortix.

VORTIX! After Welmu and Nerchio both losing 6 maps in a row after being one map away from first place, this feels good in the end. Now we only need elfi being god and the day is saved.

They're too busy burrowing roaches.

Placing bane mines zvt isn't as easy anymore as it used to be.
Put the Bmines near the creep -> Terran scans there anyways and you lose some banes for nothing.
Put the Bmines off creep before he started to nonstop push you -> hellions kill it
Put the Bmines off creep after you have mutas to sustain mapcontrol -> you sinked a (few) possible muta(s) into units which just wait in the ground for lucky moments.

+ you have to react super fast since burrowed banes have a small visual radius.

Leenock and Soulkey use it quite often. In Leenock's case dating all the way back to 2011.

It would be nice if Leenock could do a few other things well, as well
