Well I think the way you worded it was disrespectful and quite frankly it is not for you to decide what is acceptable or not. And a player not always playing his best is very much acceptable. Players have ups and downs. But it's fine, I think you didn't mean it as bad as it sounded, although I wasn't the only one to see it that way.
