Maybe not for you, but I do think most people are just too nostalgic. If you look back at the LR threads when bw was the only game around, a lot of the games' recommendations were pretty bad. Nowadays, people are just like FUCK YEAH BW, EVEN THE CHEESES ARE FUN AND AMAZING TO WATCH - which I know was not the same sentiment at the time.

I'm pretty content with Blizzcon. It may not have been the champion everyone wanted but pretty much every series was pretty good in general. Hopefully some good changes for WCS are made next year and we can have an ever better tournament.

Also there is a very simple solution if you prefer bw: Watch Broodwar instead of SC2... [And stop polluting LR-Threads with such kind of bullshit]
It was a good tournament with good games and the usual whining when a toss wins is just so much fun even considerung I am a Terran.
I didn't play bw or watch it before sc2 so there's no nostalgia .

Jaedong at least tries to interact with the foreign community by speaking some English... and I wasn't trying to say you shouldn't like a player because he's faceless, I was explaining to the guy that was saying good results =/= faceless that he was wrong.

When Kespa was switching over, shy/sos was basically the first player that they were praising as really good at sc2.
I'm happy to see him win a big thing. He's been one of the most consistently good players this year.
