That's why you don't learn from Prime Terrans...They never build Ghosts or vikings until tehy absolutely have to, which is why a lot of them die in late-game TvP still much better than any other terrans at it at their peaks

Extremely high play from both players but Dear played the better game. Maru's multi-tasking was just amazing, but so was Dear's since he was defending it so well and manages at the same time to set himself up for the better late game. Dear is definitely shaping up to be not only the best Protoss player, but best player for the end of 2013.

This. Very few ppl acknowledge how bad Maru's economy was before that fight. He had lost way more scvs than Dear had lost probes. Maru's multitask is superb but even he couldn't defend Dear's harass while doing his double harass.

MKP's TvP was just microing bio and being more cost efficient than the other guy, it's flashy but not effective if the other player can survive it. It's the same game Maru just tried to play there.
