Gogo Startale, your roster is big enough to get this... Though let me think again, it is StarTale, right? Okay, AA wins, StarTale 2nd. I am talking about whole season :D
So before I knew the openers I thought it'd go 4-1 or 4-2 depending on how many lesser players ax/acer felt like sending out, but apparently they wanna kick things of with the all kill. Sadly I can't see anyone on fxo beating bogus.
Also small mistake in OP, for grand finals (in the format part) it says 3rd match is allkill, fairly sure that should say 2nd match.
Haha! The first player FXO must beat is Innovation ^^ Bringing out the big guns doesn't start to describe it. I hope Innovation has had to settle in, though.

I think, hope and would be glad if this goes to game 7, with a Gumiho vs Scarlett ace match!
but maybe Innovation wants this chance to try out Gumiho's TvT to prepare for the possibe match in Group F. I wonder if FXO would try sC first.

I forgot about sC! That means FXO have more than 4 (!) players that could be considered their core players (Gumiho, Leenock, Hurricane, sC, Seed and maybe Lucky). Might be the first time ever?

no need for zergs when you have Innovation and Ryung, I guess Innovation could offrace zerg when need be
( Scarletts TvZ will be godlike once her wrists are ok)
It would be so sick if Acer could play by themselves with a Bogus/MMA/nerchio/Scarlett/Bly Team but I think Axiom's guys will really help them out aswell! Rooting for them

Since his reverse sweep to Soulkey, Innovation has gone 12-3 in TvZ, with one of those a hilarious failed cheese vs cheese against Shine on Fighting Spirit. Leenock on the other hand has not looked good vT. I don't think it would be close if it happened

It's been so long since my favorite Zergs owned it up. These days it feels like I'm cheering for toss and terran players more ><
I also think it would be awesome to see Leenock tear it up again. Also, I'd like to see Zergs in general not get destroyed this season. There were only 3 in season 1 with a winning record: Symbol (7-6), Nestea (4-0), and Sniper (2-1).
I'm not hoping for an all-kill of any kind, however. 12 of the 32 overall matches were all-kills last season! It's neat to see someone go on a mega hotstreak occasionally, but I thought it happened WAY too often in season 1. (poor NSH)

FXO have by far the deeper squad. Is Scarlett even in Korea anymore? I thought was taking a break because of the wrist issues? If no, then this team will be beaten by snipers of FXO (even though i doubt they have had much time to get ready)
Also this season of GSTL doesn't look so good, it's so sad how KESPA and ESFI can't just join together and try and attempt to fix the SC2 scene together, instead of staying apart and producing 2 of everything.

Scarlett on break til October
This doesn't mean we won't get Proleague+GSTL
More than likely PL will start after GSTL is over, so there is still a possibility

they finally removed the " code a/s thing >_> " felt like blasphemy to see it say Code B for Mvp's profile right after he won wcs eu and got top 4 at season finals.
Innovation clearly confused by the way this game is going. Both people going macro oriented openings, nothing like ProLeague. Innovation head going to explode!

Gotta wait for sc's death animation to finish, may take some time given how hard it is to attack into sieged tanks.
It's painful to watch sc playing. It almost seems he is f2 a all the time. And his army just dancing around there for like 10 min for nothing. I miss the old sc
I feel like at this stage of the game it doesn't matter unless you take out like 10+ siege tanks, that hellion run around was kind of weird. But I like the hellion play overall, pretty interesting.

Man I really missed a chance by not picking AXA for my FGSTL team, forgot that GSTL is all kill all the time so Innovation will probably destroy this league for a while It seemed like the cop out pick though.

Thing is, he wasn't using them as his third was blocked by Bogus' push, then his mineral line at the natural was contained.

I feel like he only had the advantage right now because his signing was something of a surprise (though I dunno if behind the scenes everyone knew it was coming). I figure soon teams will be sniping him to hell and he'll start actually losing some games. But I wouldn't be surprised if he all kills today.

Dunno, I feel bad but somehow I went from being a huge Innovation fan to disliking him for signing with Acer. Obviously money is important but I feel bad for his former teammates.
Also I guess I kinda want to see him lose a TvP so I can justify balance whines elsewhere damn I can't win TvP.

Ax Acer is so op now. This is only what Innovation can do...and behind him there's also Ryung, MMA and once Scarlett is back from her break.........they will just ruin GSTL for everyone else lol.
Well time to get some sammiches in preparation of the 30min Leenock death animation Didn't expect Innovation to be back from his slump so soon but it's a happy surprise! :D
I'm going to assume Leenock has some type of cheese planned. Innovation is playing well tonight so I highly doubt Leenock would come close to taking him in a normal macro game D:

Well thanks to blizzards great game design he doesn't have much of a choice. Though maybe someone on that bench really wants to play today so he may go mech.
Greater zergs have stood before Innovation and fallen, I really don't see how Leenock can pull trough in a straight up game, maybe a bust or tricky play into a standard game could give him enough of an edge, or maybe Leenock somehow turns on beast mode and displays some of his legendary muta micro and harass.

heheheheh muta harass. Yeah good times when it was still possible to do it at all ))))))

Yes yes we all know innovations is amazing but stop talking like Leenock has zero chance. Unless you started watching sc2 a few months ago and dont know Leenock, then I understand it a little bit atleast. If Leenock is feeling good today, is 100% focused id give him 30% chance.

It really depends on tempo of the map, yeah if Innovation starts doing his parade push its extremely hard to harass, however if you can get an opening the muta harass is still quite potent, as demonstrated by Soulkey.

the ones going roaches with banes, so the mutas can go harass or snipe drops. Might not work vs Innovation as easily, since he is one of the few terrans that targetfires with mines.

Good zerg for sure so is Soulkey, but nothing compared to the likes of Innovation/Maru/Polt/Taeja etc etc. In TvZ all good zergs are gone yet all good terrans are multiplying, facinating.

he's quite above-average in TvT just clearly not the best, and yeah now that IM and MVP are gone I don't see many that I'd reasonably expect to beat Bogus outside of Supernova, Bomber, Soul Tosses, Avenge, and Gumiho (who didn't play today..).

Honestly it's gonno be awkward as fuck when he has to play against his old team SouL. Like he's gonno face hyvaa, Trap, Dear etc. not to mention his old coach who he's been with for many many years.

It's not comparable to his non-mirrors but his TvT isn't as catastrophically poor as is made out
Innovation went from playing in the SPL finals to beating up on amateurs. To each his own I guess, but I would have much preferred if he joined SKT1 or KT.

Amateurs? Leenock et al?
Good to see your terrible posting hasn't changed during my brief absence from TL
Apart from a select few players (Flash, Rain, SK, and a few more) I'd say the average skill level of GSTL players is at least on par with the non-superstar ProLeague players. With IM/MVP still in the GSTL I'd even it might be more difficult than proleague. So the people he is now beating up are around the same level of the people he used to beat up in PL.

Amateurs? It's not like Bogus hasn't all-killed in SPL before xD
Everyone sent out today from FXO isn't exactly top-tier atm, but they've all showed promise or had their moments in the past.
You'd think after Maru and Bomber won the OSL and Regionals this past season you'd learn to respect some of the old-guard.

I think Leenock is a terrible example for HOTS as a good player :p

So are most of zergs in ZvT in HotS :D. I suggest to rate zergs by strength of their ZvP now :D JD for da 1st place!

To the guy that said that, Im and MvP arent in GSTL this season, IM switched to KeSPA and is playing in Proleague this season and MvP disbanded

No, he went from losing to foreigners to actually winning
wow GSTL only has 5 teams now. I mean I know MVP is potentially undergoing some management changes but IM can still play in GSTL after leaving ESF..... dang

Very true, but please name me those insane Zergs that can do this to terrans ?
Scarlett
Good zerg for sure so is Soulkey, but nothing compared to the likes of Innovation/Maru/Polt/Taeja etc etc. In TvZ all good zergs are gone yet all good terrans are multiplying, facinating.
What's fascinating is how it mimics the end of WoL with the role reversed.
So, let's do this the same way it's been done at the end of WoL: "Zergs, adapt".

There are some fundamental differences. You can't adapt if your units are stuck under fungal. You can, however, beat mines through pure micro.
I too think that Zerg is a little UP but you are blowing this waaay out of proportion.

I'm not sure why people think skill-level is directly correlative with the players he face in one team league. You don't really advance your skill playing in a tournament other than dealing with nerve issues and such. And WCS is still what it is. He'll still have pretty good teammates, he'll likely have a lot of other practice partners, former teammates, friends and such. We know this often happens. I can understand people's concerns but comparing the players in PL and GSTL is a incredible weak argument.

I still can't believe sC let Inno get back there behind the natural

Did Innov show any emotion as he was going through everybody? Even crack a smile when he got the allkill?
How does that even remotely matter? Do they have to act like a 10 years old girl and show you all their emotions? It's everyones personal choice how much he shows to thousands of strangers watching on stream and it is no indicator of whether it he is happy or not anyways.
Acer interviewed Innovation on his first all kill as an Acer player.
The other potential choice for FXO's final player was Gumiho. Would you have felt less confident facing him than Leenock? I didn't really care who would come as their final player, but when I saw Leenock I was pretty sure I would all-kill them because he is a Zerg.

Huh, I was going to do this initially but then mid-broadcast I came to the brainfarty conclusion that "well, anyone looking at 5-7 probably doesn't mind being spoilered". I'm not sure what exactly triggered me into thinking this, maybe I figured that the reason why the spoilers are put into two categories (1-4 and 5-7) is due to the fact that 5-7 is the one you click if you want final spoilers for GSTL type matches, and also that if people look for the ratings they aren't concerned with spoilers (They would look to see if they need to watch any games at all - who'd look at rating if they are planning to watch the matches and want to avoid spoilers? Well... Maybe the people who want to see if the ratings are good, and if they are bad, just read the result instead of watching the VODs, but would such people also click the 5-7 ratings? Those were my thoughts). These points obviously make no sense now to most people haha, and in retrospect I see the mistake. D: It's too late now, but yeah, basically had a brainfart and haven't done LR OPs for many months so I was out of the loop. Will make sure not to make the same mistake next time, and I do apologise profusely.

yes, yes you should apologize. You spoiled the series for me! :O jk jk lol. I think you should just add polls 1-7 all together although if you have polls for all 7 games then no need to change it from the status quo.

I'm sorry. T_T;;
I'll make sure to post the fake polls next time together with the final real poll, as per usual. It's not a huge hassle, I just somehow brainfarted as said.
Added a warning to the polls for this thread, since any new polls will be too obviously fake.

Okay, few things. It doesn't matter, just curious. Don't know where you live, but most people (both male and female) express themselves above the age of 10. It makes a difference, why do you think OGN does player shots midgame? It adds to the experience, to see whether it's another day at the office or if they look devastated or just straightfaced. You may not have cared, but lots of people "feel" different towards seeing Rain win his OSL totally unmoved (regardless how he felt internally), and Roro who cried when he won the GSL.
I know a gstl match isn't on the same level, but those are just examples of why I'm asking - did he VISIBLY seem happy, or ust not care at all.
Finally, chill out. If it's not a big deal, like we both seem to agree, then it's not a big deal to ask. Lets not pretend every post on this forum is quality research ground breaking discoveries.

No way. The average level of play in GSTL, even last season when both leagues were at full strength, was much lower than in SPL. Most GSTL players are barely above the level of WCS EU while ever SPL team has multiple players that could beat even the very best in the world.

I don't get how people get overexcited about this. Even Ryung and Super scored multiple AKs in a much stronger GSTL last season, and it's not like FXO is a good team atm. But it's great to see Innovation in Acer and this is a strong start.
I find it funny that the Kespa fanboys are trying to use this to push forward their Kespa players are superior agenda despite how plenty of all kills have occured in the gstl before. Not to mention that Innovation is one of the best players in the world so its not surprising to see him score an AK in any setting.
