I dunno how you can say that when he lost to Hydra and ZerO in bo5s. The only game he won vs ZerO he played very well, but in both those series it was clear that his muta micro was inferior.

That's a hive composition that's very, very expensive to get to. If Terran continuously pressures Zerg like Bomber did on Star Station, then Zerg simply can't get to Infestor/Ultra because the gas investment is just too much. You can't forgo Mutas because then you can't deal with Terran drops (though perhaps Zerg should experiment with static D + infestor drop defense), so Zergs are forced to stay on Muta/Ling/Bling; Terran dictates the match up with the sheer pressure Terran can put on Zerg with the cost-efficient composition that is Marine/Mine/Medivac. I mean really, Bomber didn't even bother to clear the creep and fought in the damn middle of it, he was still trading well. Bomber is playing this impeccably, not giving JD a single opening. He's getting out the Tanks early on so that he can set himself up without dying to an all-in. When he doesn't need the Tanks he just sacks them and goes bio/mine off of 3 bases and pressures until he breaks Zerg, since he has access to 3-3 immediately whereas Zerg has to invest into both Infestor Pit and Hive. That's counting the build time of both techs before Zerg can even start 3-3. 300 gas is a lot of banelings and the build time is quite long. Tl:dr: Bomber is playing perfectly and he's not giving JD half a chance at dictating the game.
