you know there are so many streaming services to watch OGN and GOMTV (included mobile)
nowdays, 40% of Koreans watch TV,vod and stream via mobile and so many ppl watch gsl,LOL leagues and OGN broadcast also

He was in Department of Food and Animal Biotechnology.. which tbh should not be as difficult to get into as the Seoul Univ name implies. People apply to schools by department/majors in Korea and highly sought-after majors in random universities are actually more difficult to get into than less known majors in elite universities.
Agree with your general points though. He seems like one of those people who will be very successful and that post you're replying to was just plain silly.

Jaedong performing worse and worse in finals, scorewise. Going from a 2-3 to a 1-3 to a 0-4. I wonder if his spirit is broken at this point.
Amusingly his best score was in his ZvP matchup.

and his english proficiency is relevant how exactly? I highly doubt you'd be able to move to a different country and pick up the language while studying AND being a very successful progamer  Don't take your anger at JD losing out on him he's a great player and a great guy

Good games from everyone there, I went to bed after game 1 of Polt vs Taeja. The audience was awesome, NASL really making effort to involve the people and I like that !
EU WCS were very emotional imo, lots of ups & down. Really cool tournament but I'm surprised by the amount of viewers not skyrocking :/ bloddy TI 3 I guess :/

Jaedong's current streak reminds me a lot of Hyun's. Hyun was playing very well for at least one year, but he always got 2nd or 3rd until he finally won DH.

I just realized Innovation is the only one out of all 16 players from the Season 1 finals to make it into the Season 2 finals. That's actually quite amazing haha

After that game 3, I now understand why after recently switching to Terran I have a 90% win ratio against Zerg.
Hope it takes some more time for zerg to figure out bio mine ^^

I'd like to see how JD would do in WCS Korea, where all the big guns are. WCS EU/WCS NA have strong players, but not the best. JD only met a couple Code S caliber players in his tournament runs, gonna be interesting to see how it goes when hes at Season 2 Finals.

perfect example why ling/bane/muta is like dead dead right know, as terran u just keep trading marines/mines and keep pressure up the whole time, even with ultras u cant do shit as zerg. and all the harass dont mean shit from zerg, jd was killing like 50-60 svs with banes the whole time. polt like yaoface mules np ._.

Jaedong is awesome to watch, his mechanics are insane but he makes terrible decisions consistently, whereas Polt has some of the absolute best on-the-fly decision making out there.
I still feel Jaedong is getting a bit too much flak, yeah he's not winning tournaments but his consistency of late has been ridiculous
