Agreed. Polt was a sick good WOL terran, and he finally gets what he deserves imo. I really wonder why polt just can't win against jaedong. Is a terran win always because imbalance? What about, you know, the terran being better than the zerg? Isn't that possible?
2 days ago I played in a tournament. It was bo3 and in game 1 I defeated a zerg. He complained: "mines are too strong, I won only because of them". The next game I just went tank marine medivac and stomped him even harder. Awesome feeling. I think zergs are blaming their loses too fast on the widowmine.

scarlett would have better chance vs polt her zvt looked pretty amazing . and yeah jaedong make too many mistakes like the 32 mutas instead of teching .

I mean Polt was fearsome in TvZ in WoL until very close to the end, when pretty much only Innovation was winning TvZs and was playing completely different styles to what he's doing now in HoTS. I remember Polt was playing an MLG on Entombed Valley and did his 3 fac 2/2 tank push miles onto creep, and split his army across multiple screens. Play so good that MLG later re-showed his playercam, was awesome!
Polt rebuilt his entire 1-base centric style that won him the Super Tournament and became a strong macro player without sacrificing his micro chops.
Polt studies (albeit he seems to have quite a bit of free time). Polt streams pretty consistently. Polt is based in NA, which like Violet before him makes me question the foreigner 'if you play in NA you can't get good' line.
But yeah I mean, fuck Polt because he beat Jaedong *sigh*

imho jeadong played very good, but polt played even better. his tvz was near perfection tvz of innovatoin. if it was another terran (teaja) or some toss, jd woult take it i would say.

I think Polt vs Scarlett would've been a more entertaining series overall, but I also think JD deserved to be in the final.

Yea between the string of semi-final and final finishes, JD is looking like one of, if not the most consistent player in the foreign scene atm. Imagine if he won the last 4 tournaments he made great placements in, we'd all be singing his praises as one of the best players in the game. Not too much farther for him to go to get there

Terrans and protosses just point out the obvious when they are UP, zergs think they're UP even when they're OP.
