What you're doing is justifying Innovation's cheese tactics by saying he has a good standard game to fall back on with the implication being that Maru doesn't. I can guarantee you, if we were watching Innovation vs Rain we'd also be seeing cheese builds from Innovation. Why? Because Rain is too fucking good if you try and just play him straight up, no Terran in their right mind wants to play him the way he's most comfortable if they actually want to beat him. I didn't say that Innovation couldn't beat Rain in a macro game, I never even implied it.
I'm saying that if you are playing a Bo7 against Rain you're going to incorporate cheese builds into it. You aren't going to play macro games in all 7 games and win 4 of them. What we've seen so far this series is a macro game, a failed timing and 1 cheese build. It's not something you can pick on Maru over. This series has been very normal so far.

No. How does that even make sense. Maru played better in this one series, and he out mindgamed innovation. He therfore deserves this final. But in a bo100 i would put innovation waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay above maru every time. And in a game against rain he has way way way better chances than maru.

Anaconda was cheese.... if you don't see that sorry you don't know anything about TvP. INnoVation really doesn't cheese in TvP, because there's not really much you can do. Thats why macro and timings are the way to go.
