Yeah he's pretty much the pioneer of the 1-1-1. In fact people used to refer to the main version of it as the "Polt Timing Attack."

He surprisingly did not abuse it as much as I thought he would've, and so now it is pretty much associated with Puma.

Quite different builds IIRC, Polts was quite marine heavy. They also happened at totally different points in the meta game.

I know that blizzard wants to convert sc2 to a Action Game but this series was about strategy. Yes cheese is a strategy and everyone knows it exists. If you cannot deal with it, you are simply playing bad. I tend to believe that the problem is that people (including me) focus too much on having better mecanics, when is simply better to scout and react accordingly. I know it hurts to much when you lose to cheese or real cheaters (like in the ladder right now, comment apart) but I believe that Innovation needs to practice agains cheese. SoulKey 4-3 was 3 cheese on a row is a pattern.

I think with a more devoted coach and a bit more discipline, he could quit his slump. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Prime basically function like a ladder clan? :/ I agree with you on the Marineking assessment. If you watch his WCG game 1 against EffOrt his macro was on point and he just wrecked effort with superior macro and bio control. His decision making has always been his drawback :/ As for Prime, I am not 100% sure how it's run but I don't think it's too far off. There is still a separate Prime Clan that is huge as far as I know, but they have typically seemed rather disorganized from what I've read. Usually they are just laddering pretty hard to practice or typically seem like practice mercenaries for other teams. I remember quite a few Kespa players naming prime players as practice partners early in on proleague. I've also heard that Gerrard doesn't really do much if anything at all as a coach, but I don't know how much truth there is to that. There were also reports that the team has basically been running off MKP's and Creator's winnings, so it seems like kind of a mess at times.
