What I'd love to see is a team league with both ESF AND Kespa teams. ideally, there would be one Korean team league with all the team. maybe even with two league 'levels' (like Code A and Code S) so that the amount of teams doesn't get too crazy. but unfortunately that seems VERY unlikely to ever happen.

Its not that unlikely. I don't think SC2 in Korea can sustain the number of teams that there currently are. More will likely disband and eventually everything will merge. Or maybe I'm wrong and we keep multiple teams and multiple leagues. I'd be okay with that too.

I don't know if the "levels," would be a great idea. I was thinking that we have 12-16 teams playing and make them broadcast more games (so each team still might play a few games a round but there would be a lot more of it) and have play-offs work a bit differently to get the top 8 instead of top 4.

Or maybe I'm wrong and we keep multiple teams and multiple leagues. I'd be okay with that too. If SC2 were big enough to support all teams we could have a system like most (American?) sports have where there are separate conferences / divisions who only meet for special interleague matches, all-star games, and the playoff finals. We could have a GSTL conference and SPL conference and the winners play each other.
However, realistically I don't see 16 teams continuing to exist in Korea, 8 playing in GSTL and 8 playing in SPL.
GSTL: Axiom-Acer, AZUBU, FXO, LG-IM, MVP, NSH, Prime, and StarTale SPL: CJ, EG-TL, Jin Air (formerly Team 8), KT, Samsung, SK Telecom, STX, and Woongjin
There are quite a few teams who people generally see as having uncertain futures in Korea. AZUBU? NSH? EG-TL? STX?
With both team leagues ending soon and the eSF-KeSPA trade lock officially ending in October, I think we have a decent chance to work out a unified team league. Personally, I would love to see eSF and KeSPA duke it out, especially with GSTL players in SPL format.
Edit: If nothing else, I would settle for LG-IM vs the winner of SPL in a Bo3. Day 1: GSTL format. Day 2: SPL format. Then Ace Match if necessary.

Oh lol... I forgot this was today.

The thing about "conferences" stuff is that both parties should have equal power, money and leverage, which is clearly not the case here
Let's see if the coming KeSPA team is LGIM/MVP, which is somewhat likely. If it's so GOM is fucked with like 3 stable team left. As if GSTL couldnt get more random & unnoticed (no offense though)
But hey, I have mentioned it before but why dont GOM create a squad from these struggling/zombie/crime teams and play in SPL?

Yeah I liked the way IPTL made their format, it felt like it was more of one huge league and not just a single tournament.

Unfortunately we did not perform on the night, @axiomesports finishes in 3rd place for GSTL. Proud of how far we got. See ya in Season 2 TB also said that the partnership will continue in a thread at reddit.
Ya we can confirm that we intend to participate.
