Stupid excuses again. Better player won.

Well, no, but Grubby certainly played better in that game 3.

FRUSTRATION !!!!!!

He could have played in KR scene. He didnt choose do to do so. These bureaucratic shitz is part of playing games on prolevel in other regions... But forgg lost fair and square.. grubster had him. I even believe his games against vortix were really awefull. He lost his spot there and then not against grubster.

I don't think micro was the problems, ForGG lost it partly by his late third, but mostly when he poked with the rines and lost a lot together with a few medivacs. If he'd waited for the hellbats to come out first the fight would be much closer. Of course there's still the colossus switch to worry about, but that's the penalty for having a crappier economy.

500 ping? Tough titties, it's his own fault.

How is it his fault that French embassy is giving him a hard time with his visa?

his problem, he is from Korea and if I remember correctly there is WCS Korea ... trying to get easy money from Europe? bad luck ...

He's been living in Franch for like a year.......

Its easy for a player to look superior and amazing when his opponent is having difficulties due to lag and stuff, was quite evident when ForGG was trying to micro and just couldn't do it efficiently vs both Vortix and Grubby.

Congrats to Grubby for advancing and all, but there is such a thing as the better player not always winning, and today the better player didn't win.

Im sure ForGG would'a 4:0'd his groupe if he woulda been in Europe. But anyways, gg Vortix and Grubby.

lol no.
"better player" did not win, actually Grubby is a ofc a cool guy, a good player and I like him more than ForGG but it is obvious, that Terran that need to MICRO to win, no matter what matchup, are more affected by lag then Grubby was.
If the "better" player won, why did Grubby opt 2x for allin/timing attacks instead of a straight up macro game against this korean terran?

Good player knows how to scout third base. ForGG didnt scout and deserved to lose. Scouting has nothing to do with lag.

Grubby reacted to what he saw. He saw the fast 3rd CC and went for the immortal pressure + warp prism due to the lack of tech/units from the terran. The third game was also like that, as the oracle saw the stim being researched at the normal time and the factory coming down, so he took the third base before forgg could move out and attack. Reactionary attacks due to game knowledge. So yes, the more knowing (yet not as mechanically strong) Grubby beat the non-scouting (yet mechanically out of this world) ForGG.

Lag made it hard to scout the push or the third? Don't think so. Grubby outplayed ForGG in that game 100%.

Maybe it's because he's playing for Millenium and he has been in France for the past year or so?
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

Grubby just had the better unit composition, even with lower ping I wouldn't have seen forGG split against that. Not to mention forGG knew the situation and decided to go for splits vs storms instead of ghosts (sure then you also have problems with higher ping, but that's all things he knew beforehand). If it was just barely won by Grubby I could have agreed it was due to ping (would still have been deserved by Grubby. But this was a very clear and decisive victory of Grubby, stop trying to downplay it. Because lets face it, if forgg would have been in Europe you would have blamed jetlag.

So according to forgg fans:

Game 1 was super awesome leet skills (forgg's greed risk)
and game 3 was all lost due to bad ping (grubby's fast third)? lolol
