Got to learn to love and accept the cheese! Some players are just good at spotting weakness in opponents game and exploiting it in clutch matches. If someone is being super greedy no harm in cheesing them till they stop being greedy! After all the solution to any cheese is to be less greedy and scout about a bit...

His micro was amazing. I can't lie, it's hard to not have respect for it. But at the same time, he got way too much love. He wasn't an all-around player at all. His macro was subpar and later on once his all-ins stopped working, and he had to try playing more macro oriented games, he was a B-teamer, almost instantly. A comparison would be like Huk. People should still be worshiping him. After all, he won with all-ins when people didn't know how to defend yet. I don't get the love fest for people that dominate games in their infancy with caveman like tactics.
Midas was a better player than boxer, yet he is lucky to even be an afterthought/remembered by most.

If a race is at an obvious disadvantage, coaches would just choose to not send that race out, instead of sending them out to die. The format makes it so that race imbalance leads to that race not getting matches. (The BW map Central Plains is an especially hilarious example of this).
It's more interesting IMO to look at what players actually do get sent out. Out of the 411 games in that list, there were 392 protosses, 203 terrans, and 199 zergs. Clearly, KeSPA coaches think protoss is strong, or they wouldn't be sent out in almost as many games as the other two races combined.

In fact, it seemed rather defensible had Major not been so greedy himself, and I think Flash himself was surprised how greedy Major was and how he eventually dealt so much damage.
It was probably good it ended early. If Flash had really played solid macro, the supply difference and skill gap would be even more apparent, more drawn out, and more painful to watch.

Anyway, Major should feel happy. Like what someone said in the other thread, it was an honour playing against Flash in SPL. A parallel example is football - Tahiti in the Confederations Cup. They had just been battered by Spain, the reigning World and European champs, 10-0 in the last game. Were they sad? No way! It was the game of their lives, an experience they will regale to their kids and grandkids in years to come.
Every sport should have a "Cool Running" underdog story. It's great drama and history.
While I'm happy that KT won (I'd be crushed if they had lost), it's still sad to see how noone else on Team8 seems to be able to pick up victories except for Argo and TY

Yeah, but a screw didn't come loose in Major's booth causing it to fall apart forcing Major to hold the booth up with one hand while he finished the game with his other.
Got a chance to watch the vod to see how the game finished. I thought that major went rax first then cc but apparently not :O His decision making was terrible as in he dropped the depot, repaired then moved back his SCVs and must've misclicked or something because they weren't repairing. That and he should've started a bunker as soon as he saw the 2 marauders. Like instantly, 5-7 SCVs, 1 to build and the rest to repair and pull back wounded ones etc... Had he done that, then he would've been ahead and Flash would've been down one cc which was still building. I'm not sure what the floating rax above major's ramp was for though lol

Funny, but it seems that even in BW, Proleague is full of Protoss. There were a lot of zergs qualifying in the individual leagues, a terran would win the individual league titles often, but protoss would still dominate Proleague.
