Nah more reason to like Bo1 if that happens.

What else do you want? Cupcakes for the viewers?

I agree the game is good. I don't deny that fact at all. In fact is was one of the most i've seen in a while. However i'm just annoyed with people talking about the best of one system like there isn't flaws. Just like MVP and other players shines in best of fives or sevens, the possibility of having those players go out in a best of one system against an inferior player in a longer series, is a loss for me. It's kinda like having Sjow beat Life in a bo3 just for him to loss painfully in the next game. Although not fully compareable. Also dont think that i dont appreciate upsets, it gives a tournament life. But all in all i prefer the bo3 far more than the bo1. Each to his own i supose.

DH is staged OSL is bo1

you compare very different things and what some people forget is that these players know perfectly what they're doing.

They're not going into the matches with the mindset "oh fuck I have such a huge chance to lose", but rather the whole training environement of the player is preparing the game to come for hours so it must be a success.

It makes the game so much more different.

(I would stop with this nonsense, but there is too much people still thinking it's somehow inferior as far as 'fun to watch' is concerned -.-)

Giving most of the credit for the quality of the games to the bo1 like some people are doing is a fallacy in itself. Or you could just wait until we have a day with poor games or favored players gets knocked out and see what people say then.

Very different things? You have to compare them if you want make some sort of assesment of which format you like or dislike or which you find worse or better. How else do you want to make a comparison? Jesus.

I said it already in the thread, but I prefer bo3 because there's less possibility for flukes in the long run, but bo1 is better for intensity because losing a map has humongous implications.
