Man, loving that google doc. Gonna make viewing so much easier.

it's actually viOlet who is going to win this.

sorry to say this, but the first day looks boring. very underwhelming because of the boring groups. almost all of them consist of complete unknowns that nobody cares about and big names who are miles ahead of the nonames, so the potential for upsets is very close to zero.
in the end, life, violet, stephano, taeja and gumiho will be the only serious contenders for the title anyway... I personally dont believe in jaedong or squirtle.

Squirtle is going too right? As well as Jaedong? I don't think we can count them out

There's no exclusivity, Kespa just doesn't care to send any players to DH.

Foreign tournaments needs to contact Kespa and pay(transport, hotel, food) for the invites.

Kespa is going to have to start at least considering sending players to foreign tournaments. Especially with these Tier 1 point tournaments, these foreign tournaments could be the difference between making the world final and not making the world final.

KeSPA usually only send players when the tournament pays for their flight/hotel which DH doesn't do. Also proleague is still going on so maybe they want to keep their players for the round 6 matches.

62 zergs signed up... how sickening.

There's just no real reason no Kespa teams to send players to Dreamhack. What exposure is their for the Korean companies who sponsor the teams from the western audience who tune in to Dreamhack? Samsung is the only Kespa company selling anything I can even buy, and their Korean marketing division is not their European Marketing division.
Not to mention they'd miss practice time and proleague.
Unless foreign tournaments are going to pay then Kespa players are staying in Korea.

You make more points just qualifying for the season finals even if you scrape in and then bomb out straight away than you do winning Dreamhack and MLG.
Given there's only 16 spots on the line at the end of the year I really doubt that MLG's or Dreamhack's will be the deciding factor. Certainly not so important it's worthwhile for Kespa to spend thousands and thousands of dollars sending loads of their players to Europe. If you win a Tier 1 event the points are decent, but beyond that they aint that great.
