Widow mines which are not that scary in TvT followed up by banshees that were doomed to fail against the turrets build to stop the widow mine drops. And then what, mass hellion? However was that going work?
Too many people don't understand the indirect economic cost of harass. Artosis stated it quite specifically. Making your opponent use scans costs them 270 minerals each time they do it which is a large economic hit. Innovation had MVP's number though and got the viking because the mine drop was so fast he knew it was gas first and likely a banshee followup. Good read by innovation. If the hellbats hadn't done so much damage to MVP (he mineral walked them and then didn't split them, the huge hellion push follow up by MVP would've kept the game more or less on even keel. He really needed one medavac to elevator up his hellions into the main after which the game would've been totally different.
At any rate, well played by both players. Innovation's early viking really completely stopped the banshees and the death of the 2nd banshee ofscreen was huge.
MVP tended to take way too much damage to hellbat drops the whole series.

Great games. I think mvp's build got shut down hard by innovation. He had the engineering bay and turret down right as the banshee got there and lost 2-3 SCVs max to the widow mine. I think having the hellions at the tower without attacking Innovation's base and then against stalling before attacking gave Innovation time to set up a defense and try to get a tank out. Ironic isn't it? Innovation actually built a tank XD

Funny thing is, Innovation beat Flash in RO16 WCS Korea, and said that if Flash had mech instead of bio, Flash would've won.
And then Innovation went half-bio against MVP in Game 2 (with such an early lead), and then lost.
I think both games are even on the same map!

Blizz said if a matchup is the same thing everytime they would change it. I think hellbats fit into that, but hellbats later on are important to help with siege tanks for mech so weakening them changes how that works too. Maybe just remove the healing.

At first when INnoVation got hyped so much I thought it was kinda funny, but did not pay that much attention to it. Then, when he started owning everyone on his road to the GSL finals I was just amazed by his play and his awesome mechanics. I really wanted him to win the GSL and seeing him go down to Soulkey really hurt. I was really afraid he might be so affected by the loss that he would drop off, but he has proven me wrong. Going to the finals after losing one just the week before in an embarassing fashion is just an amazing accomplishment. He has however shown that he is mortal and has problem dealing with high pressure. But this makes him even more awesome imo. Definitively became a fan over the past days!!!

calling MVP esf's saviour is quite retarded

Game 2 was one of the biggest chokes/cockiness I've seen from innovation in which lead to him throwing the game. Game 1 + 4 Innovation was completely dominant. Game 5, was teh only back and forth game. It was an epic series with both players looking really fucking good stop being all analytical and just get fucking pumped about a great set of games
Some people don't turn their brains off when they watch sporting events, that's why analytical casters exist.
