Wow, didn't see that one coming. I guess they only ever played when aLive was in form?

What the lol they are trying to make you think that any region except Korea has anything to do with this tournament Yeah, take a look at the OP banner. Hilarious.

I think you're grossly overestimating Bogus' skill in long games. The reason he looks so good when the games hits that point is because when he isn't getting busted and punished, he goes into the mid-game with an extreme advantage due to a greedy opening, and he converts that huge mid-game advantage into big damage and snowballs into the late game if it even lasts that long. He executes his mid-game well, but I don't think he's actually as mind blowing as people give him credit for. It's mostly just really solid consistent play IF his opponent lets him take the upper hand.

They were pretty old but it was like aLive 2-0 Stephano at IPL3 where Stephano won the tournament and a win in a NASL qualifier among other things

Safe to block roach bane at least.

Could you guys stop forgetting that 3 CC double EB is as cheesy as bane/roach all-ins? That's not what cheese means. Greed-cheese if you will. I totally agree with you, if you try to get away with such a greedy build you're just asking to get busted. Once Bogus stops doing the same greedy macro build every game people will stop busting him. the problem is the balance between greed and safety. You need to as greedy as possible against an equally skilled Zerg. And Innovation is able to defend the Roach-Bane all-ins if he scouts it in time, so he probably does this build and relies on reacting to his opponents play Yes this is true. BUT in this game, Roro went for a fast gas and Innovation scouted it. So Innovation is just ahead by default if they play a macro game, so he can absolutly afford the extra 1-2 tanks squeezed in and delay his ebays slightly. Instead he chose to go for the most greedy fuck in the book, after scouting that his opponent already had a clock on him. What kind of nonsense is this? You're not "ahead by default" at all if your opponent went fast gas...

I believe TheDwf made a great post explaining why you must open with an ultra sharp build against zerg that's close to greediness if you want not to be rolled later into the game.

Oh I knew of it. That's one of the reasons I didn't give Stephano the nod over him plus he's not on form.
