That doesn't make it Code S at all. That's just like saying "WCS Korea Premier League = MLG." Sure, they copied the format of Code S, but that's it. Insinuating its' the same thing is absolutely silly, imo. There's a clear, definite distinction in my eyes and I'm sure in many others.

uh, no. Code S is a terminology made/used by GOM.

lol no. The term Code S should be exclusively for WCS Korea due to the level of play. Oh hey yeah organizers decided to call WCS NA and Eu Primier Code S too, so those euros/americans in Primier league should be called Code S player? lol nope.

Isn't the next WCS Korea by OGN and hence considered an OSL?

While I agree that Code S should remain with WCS KR the reason you give for it is crap. It should remain because of history, this tournament was always called Code S and so people remember it with that name. Level of play has nothing to do with it, its just an additional brand. Also I dont think the tournament organizers care that much about a "Code S" brand. WCS EU is a huge success with actual EU players and if WCS NA would call themself Code S it would further ridicule the "NA" in the name of the league, with the best players beeing an norwegian and australian.

they should just make WCS using the football worldcup system
every region is locked but they send a different number of players to the finals according to overall skill. this number changes over the seasons according to performance in the finals
if this is working well for the biggest sport in the world it should work well for sc2, no?

I'll still be watching WCS EU and WCS KR (and SHOUTcraft AM if they have another). But I will not be watching WCS KR2.0

For people that support region lock. You know there is no Shoutcraft America because people actually complained about the quality of the games and players. There are enough of those complaints such that there is no more future Shoutcraft AM. This proves that there is no real simple solution (this is the point). It does not matter what you decide to do, there will be people complain like in Shoutcraft AM case or in this thread. At the moment, we just have to wait and see what model will succeed, but so far it does not look good for region lock model (Shoutcraft AM) even though there are many other factors involved.

ro32 must be offline and found a way to bring spectators in the studio
suppy had a hard group this time but he will make it in the next season.
