Werid--I'm guessing the games were short and lame? A seven game series over in 2 hours can never be a good sign.

Hope to see a good final against BoguS wow even better tahn his zvp? i can't believe this Why that sarcasm? SoulKey is an amazing player and so is sOs. sOs won against Life 2-0 in PvZ and sometimes I feel like people need to see players like SK and sOs play in a foreign league to realize how good they are. They would easily shit on every foreign player in a prepared series hands down. I really dont understand that player bashing because you can see nerves affect them in the last map of a bo7... of the GSL semifinals. I feel that everyone's beaten Life these days.
o, that was that really super stacked tournament that life and sOs were the finalists, the semi-finalists were Flash and Innovation.
Life is very consistent.

Whoa, almost a great comeback from sOs there judging by the results.

Many interviews from proleague players said similar things about short practice before GSL, you must read them at least couple times, especially when they have a SPL match on Monday or Tuesday, they don't get any practice time at all for individual league if they want to sleep. I don't watch TL interviews, so I can't find them here. ofc semifinal is different, but it's a teamkill.

I read just about all the interviews and such statements feel are actually quite rare, I feel that such assertions are blown out of proportion and devalue GSL.

I'd consider that highly unlikely now that GSL is a qualifier for WCS.

I feel bad for people who stayed up to watch these games. At least Symbol vs. Innovation can't be worse than this, that's a plus.

I remember that about several weeks ago probably, maybe when there were a lot of matches in GSL, for several days, almost every interview from proleague player said they didn't have time to practice, couple of them said because of the previous day SPL, coach didn't give them time to practice at all.

I don't know, probably because I never saw non-KeSPA players complain about no practice time before GSL. We all know Bisu complained about that against their coaches multiple times during BW era. Proleague coaches have a pattern.

And both probably didn't even practice for this series. Somehow I find that highly unlikely. Of course they practiced, but specifically for each other in this series? Probably not. sOs is hard to prepare for unless you play against him which Soulkey (probably) has in practice, so now how do you prepare as sOs? Play standard/greedy and try to win that way; which he tried three games and lost all three. Yes he didn't play that well those games but he probably expected longer games and he is usually the aggressor and not the defender.
Soulkey has the foreknowledge of how sOs plays but how do you practice for that? Just be safe and scout a lot, which he basically did. If he continued to do that he would have won 4-0 but... after game three Soulkey fell into the same pit he did against Parting; whether it's nerves or complacency at being one game from taking the series in both cases he started to play sloppy and make mistakes. sOs also changed up his play style and stopped letting Soulkey do what he wanted. These factors contributed to the lackluster game on Akilon from Soulkey and the subsequent lackluster games from him the rest of the series.
sOs seems to thrive well when both sides are making mistakes as long as he is in a position to force them and mind game his opponent; Soulkey apparently doesn't or at least not that series. Team matches are really weird to play and really weird to prepare for so I don't think it's a far stretch to say they didn't prepare specifically for each other, just practiced and aimed to play it standard. Well, standard until sOs threw that away and went back to his style :3

I didn't find the series that bad tbh. People, especially teammates, are bound to cheese/bop eachother in a Bo7.

2base 2immortal 2colossi allin into random gateway number allin off 2 bases . There was a TL featured posts not a too long time ago describing those tactics as "Triple double" and "the Huk YOLO", I think it was the one regarding parting vs. soulkey in the ro8.

lolol hilarious comments in this thread. i love the post where one said he could win from such and such position, that's a winner. i also love all the gloating from the closet esf fanboys hahaha.

Ok, just saw the interview, definitely not the case I said. They practiced very well before the match, all protosses on the team helped Soulkey, and all zergs helped sOs to practice.
