Aahhhh so MMA's bad now? You are truly desperate.

I know we don't want any excuses for him...but it its true...When has MMA done anything of late, even in WoL?

when has strelok done anything big ? ... its stupid, MMA did play fine last games now strelok crushed him -> strelok is good! not mma bad thats a bullshit review

What?

No one is saying Strelok isn't good, nor are they taking away from his win vs MMA. But those who are saying "FUCK YEAH! EUROPE HOLDS!!! YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!" are rather foolish considering MMA wouldn't even make a top 25 list for Korean players these days... Hell, he wouldn't even make a top 50 list.

How would this mean Europe didn't hold?

Europe held son. America didn't. Get over it.

The best of euros have always been able to hang with the mid-tier koreans though...It was true in WoL, it holds true in HoTS.
The foreigners got their butts kicked in MLG because the MLG tournament was basically a tournament with purely the top-tier above-average tier koreans.

Also, what was funnier was calling Euros "Korean slayers" for basically beating two of shuttle/tails/finale and pro7ect (I still dont know who this is :s..)

Actually I'm note sure. Most of occidentals who went in Korea didn't come back in Europe / NA better than they were before (ToD, Morrow, Stephano, Thorzain, Huk, Major, HappyZerg).

I think it is really in the head.

Yeah, look at Violet who went from mediocre player on MVP to becoming a BEAST after moving to US, training with CSN.

Violet is one of the few exceptions.

Look at Polt.
As much as it pains me, Polt doesn't have the same kind of dominance after he moved to the US.

Korean training regime is still the best.

Hm you have a point. Also MC who made GSL finals after going back to training in a team house instead of traveling the world.

I do however think that if EU had access to KR ladder without lag, the gap would be a lot smaller.

At least Europe is holding the Korean invasion. First by using their reputation (and ping issues) to discourage koreans to play in WCS and then, by beating some of them.

MVP, the last hope of the triple crown.

Aye, but a simple trip to Korea is not going to grant you the infrastructure they have around them. We hear about this every time Naniwa and HuK get interviewed about their experiences in Korea. Not being able to talk to your coach and your team mates except in broken English, not adapting to the same practice regimen, feeling isolated, not having dedicated practice partners, etc. makes the trip less than useful.

It's also why I think the Kespa players are edging ahead of ESF players nowadays. Well, that and Kespa just buys up all the best talent.

If TLO is smart (which he is), he will go almost blind roach/queen drop (or nydus) every game and just crush Strelok. Think he will win this series easy.

Two questions:
1. Why there is no sound-proof cabins? How the organizers assure, that the players don't hear the audience?
2. Why the room for audience is so small? Is the popular interest really so low and it won't get filled up if it was bigger? I have my doubts. What city do they play in?
