Took us like 20 tries to beat Hyun though. MLG kept reviving him.

Most of occidentals who went in Korea didn't come back in Europe / NA better than they were before (ToD, Morrow, Stephano, Thorzain, Huk, Major, HappyZerg). I think it is really in the head. Yeah, look at Violet who went from mediocre player on MVP to becoming a BEAST after moving to US, training with CSN. Violet is one of the few exceptions. Look at Polt. As much as it pains me, Polt doesn't have the same kind of dominance after he moved to the US. Korean training regime is still the best. Hm you have a point. Also MC who made GSL finals after going back to training in a team house instead of traveling the world. I do however think that if EU had access to KR ladder without lag, the gap would be a lot smaller.

Aye, but a simple trip to Korea is not going to grant you the infrastructure they have around them. We hear about this every time Naniwa and HuK get interviewed about their experiences in Korea. Not being able to talk to your coach and your team mates except in broken English, not adapting to the same practice regimen, feeling isolated, not having dedicated practice partners, etc. makes the trip less than useful. It's also why I think the Kespa players are edging ahead of ESF players nowadays. Well, that and Kespa just buys up all the best talent.

1. Why there is no sound-proof cabins? How the organizers assure, that the players don't hear the audience? 2. Why the room for audience is so small? Is the popular interest really so low and it won't get filled up if it was bigger? I have my doubts. What city do they play in?
