Also, qualification is 400€ so it'll pay most of the trip if you are in Europe.
Really looking to it. Great initiative, the french scene is really boosted by Millenium

Llewellys said he wanted to get new names for this one so I really doubt MKP will be there. He often speaks about Parting but now that he's on a KeSPA team, it'll probably be harder to invite him. And Polt is a serious candidate I guess.

Will he stay at Mill house?
Yes, sorry. I didn't precise it. He will be able to train with Forgg, Goswser as well as Feast. So he won't have any trouble to practise every match-up. Dayshi will stay will come back before Dreamhack as well. The only problem will come from the not so silent "BobLeGob" ( he is a pain x) )

You're mean. His World of Tanks skill will increase a lot.

He will be banned shortly after following Bob training. His brain will make him attacking teammates and nothing will prevent him from doing so. Unfortunately, the ForGGeddon will happen and both Forgg and Squirtle will be unstoppable. Even tanks won't do anything. Forgg knowledge against tanks and Squirtle maneuvering skill are weapons of mass destruction ='(

I'm surprised that doesn't conflict with WCS Season 2, great for Squirtle though, this will be the first time a IM player plays at DH.
Curious is the 4th (officialy 3rd) invited player. He will stay for the week-end before filying back for his up and down matches. Life should have come but due to school he couldn't attend the event.

should have give the place to ToD who lost the place that Naniwa forfeited :/
Hyun, Squirtle and Curious just arrived in Millenuim house (Marseille, France). I missed the screen shot of the stream but I'll try to get one if I can.
Hyun looks super happy !
EDIT :
Upper left corner, free space.
Lower left corner, Feast training.
Upper right corner, Nasca (the girl) and Squirtle.
Well the ToD announcement was a bit called for :p Since Naniwa did forfeit,ToD choice was obvious. I'm looking forward to the event and i think the mood will be pretty good since all of the players at the event tend to be cool bros. I just hope the europeans (and goswer since he's in the house) will ''unlock'' the koreans shyness :D

I thought he was going to cast... No English cast now?

Yeah! Hope he can promote himself thru this tournament. If he wins he will make himself way more awesome in the foreign scene. Most people don't know how great he is (GSL Group Nominations in season 1 2013).
On June 01 2013 09:44 PhoenixVoid wrote: Incredible to see the amount of effort into this tournament with all the players and interviews. Why isn't this getting enough awareness?
because millenium suck at making their event in a international way
millenium annonced that there will be a english stream the day before the event, not surprising it didn't get hyped ... they seriously are bad at making an event interesting for the internationale community :/
plus their partnership with dailymotion forces them to stream on dailymotion, but it lags a lot outside of France ...

The fact that it happens the same weekend as the GSL final and WCS America playoffs is really unlucky tbh.

Yeah that adds to it, but its been this way for all tourneys of Millenium so far...I dont really understand why they are not focussing some more on the international community, especially with a sick lineup like this

Anyways...forGG fighting!
They plan to open an english version of their website in September I believe and an english WebTV (there are already 3 Millenium channels 24/7 in french), I guess the goal was to massively focus on the french scene (when they succeeded) before expanding to the international.

And he has been managing teams with Korean progamers for how long ? Around 8 years now I think ? I don't know why he hasn't worked on it. It makes the interviews awkwardly hilarious though, so it's fine that way for me

I always try to go for the native stream nowadays. They got all the good stuff (first Iron Squid taught me that).

It must be somewhat frustrating to face off against ForGG's tenacity. Despite losing so many workers, he just doesn't give up and produces a larger army.

After ForGG lost many SCVs, he realized it was inefficient to build workers and preferred aggression and a larger army than playing economical. It was somewhat "all-in" because he knew Curious was too safe on his worker count, so ForGG had to kill him with the larger army.

Just ForGG's style, and he is always purely focused on this type of play. But it does get predictable I suppose, so it would be good for his depth in terms of builds and styles if he tried to play some long-term macro games.
He should just go back to his bread-and-butter blink play, or scout some more to identify what his opponents are doing, it's like Feast trying something cute, and both Titan and Welmu saw that feast didn't have enough stuff and killed him straight up in all previous 4 PvPs he lost.

Against TitaN he managed to be ahead even after his fail opening but lost in mid game because of bad engagements. Here he didn't even achieve to reach the mid game.
Some nice roach maneuvers by Curious there to buy time. A tiny bit of an early gg by Welmu but the game was basically over and he was obviously frustrated. Really glad Curious advanced, but now if Squirtle gets 1st they would play each other right away whereas I prefer to see them against each other in the finals.
Favorites for Group B are the Koreans, namely Squirtle and HyuN, but I think Dayshi may pull an upset if the Koreans aren't playing at their best. I'm really interested in the potential of Dayshi because he can take games against HyuN in online tournaments, but will his skills transmit to the offline stage?

I think he could have advance had he faced HyuN in the first game. Squirtle in a PvT is another challenge completely.

I don't think it changes a lot. He'd have faced Squirtle in the winner's match anyway. If he loses against Squirtle and assuming Squirtle goes 2-0 in the groupe, he is really capable to beat ToD and HyuN.

It does change a thing Lancelot. On one hand he faces Squirtle twice, on the other he faces HyuN twice (assuming ToD gets crushed). Seeing how TvZ is his better match-up, it changes a lot.

Why would he face Squirtle twice ? Do you think HyuN will win the group by beating Squirtle in winner's match ? For me Squirtle is favorite.

ToD has little excuses here. He could have prepared his gaming environment in advance. He just likes to whine a lot about playing conditions.
Squirtle is multi-tasking like a boss right now. He handled a four Medivac drop at his main, an attack on Dayshi's natural and a Zealot drop on the main.
