They get free flights from anywhere inside the region (so Koreans have to pay to fly to NA/EU and then they get a flight to the location of the studio). I think there are only 2 offline weekends. They are playing multiple rounds over the weekends. Maybe it was 3 weekends. dont remember 100%
it might be ro16 (group stage 2) 1 weekend and the bracket the 2nd weekend. or maybe the bracket split up over 2 weekends

can't find the source anymore but flights are paid by wcs if you life in the wcs region so basically just the koreans need to buy a ticket

ro16 isn't a weekend it's 2 games on each week during weekdays i think, but the ro8+ is a weekend tourney iirc

I think flights are only provided if you live in that region? MVP for example needs to pay for his own flights.

Yeah clearly a professional athlete blames the imbalance when he loses . :D
The problem is not that he gets mad (it's human) it's that he feels the need to wrote "FUCK IMBA whatever" in chat implying that his opponent didn't deserve the win .

He needs to pay for a flight to somewhere in Europe (cheapest ticket) and then Blizzard pays for the rest of the way
so like for WCS America they only pay to fly to California or whatever and then Blizzard flies them to NY
