They were already way past their schedule, and some players had to decide their tournament fates via a coinflip due to time constraints. It wouldn't be fair to those players if they extended their tournament schedule.
hehe yeah, the strelok/lucifron/yigoh sutuation was pretty execptional :D poory luci ;( but they had to wait for almost 45mins for naniwa in his 1/8 ? game...

I keep reading all this imba this or that. I don't get it, Zerg won almost every big tournament last year and there is almost as much while about T imbalances. Even though I would say, that Zerg has won most of the big HOTS tournaments. GuMiho one of the supposed best 3 Terran players in the world got knocked out by JD and he hasn't been doing so well in HOTS.
I guess its just some ladder kids, that are getting used to the new things T have and the fact that there are statistically more P/Z players. Anyway HOTS is so much better than WOL :D things are looking good so far.

Dreamhack is still the best tournament organiser out there (Hi Blizzard) Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet at this moment Nani could probably still cut it in the later rounds in Code S. Yes Leenock didn't even make it out of the R032 in the current GSL Nani could be in Code S, but not in the later rounds. As I said, Leenock got bounced in the first round. Leenock did not get "bounced" he just sucked with his build order choices, everyone's entitled to a shit day. So good that a shit day consists of beating Life in the process. Okay, but how does winning this tournament prove he's better than Life? Or any of the other top Korean zergs who weren't in attendance? Who's saying he's better? o-O Leenock and Life have proven themselves time and time again as being top level zerg artists. Have you seen Leenock's playbook (he actually keeps a diary)? Leenock is a top level Zerg man wth man. Are you trying to say he isn't? Frig these guys even go back and forth when they play one another. The guy who said "Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet"? I quoted him, it shouldn't be very hard to find. I saw that but notice the probably and good thing we don't look at results from one tournament alone? Same rule applies to NaNiwa. Stop grasping at straws. I'm grasping at straws? You're the one who turned "Leenock hasn't proven he's better than Life" into "Leenock isn't a top-level zerg". There is no reasonable basis for saying Leenock is the best zerg in the world regardless of how many tournament results you look at. He is a top zerg. He has not proven that he is the best. Not by a long shot. Again you're failing to realise the key words probably and at the moment. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Why even bother though? Form may be temporary, but what's two days really worth in terms of determining best at the moment? Life wasn't playing at Dreamhack, neither was Roro, what's there to compare it to? A guy played well for two days and won a tournament. That's great, but why on earth would it merit a discussion about who the best zerg player is at the moment?

Naniwa said in an interview that he would provide good games and he fucking did.
This final was really awesome, it wasn't one sided and it felt like either could have won. And those mindgames were insane.
Well played Leenock !

I think the roles have reversed in HotS? I haven't seen Stephano beat Grubby in HotS yet... But that could probably just be me

THE best comparement of the force in hots will be the 2013 WCS Season 1 Finals anyway. so after that, it will be save to say who is really the best in hots without any buts and whatevers. but till then, its all about form and picking your tourneys imho.

What in the blue hell are you talking about Rufus? (That's with regards to the first part) No where did I say anything of that sort. That's not even spin-doctoring. You're wavelength is right out of left field. Once again the kid said probably. In other words, we're not dealing with absolutes and I never ever (you can go through all of my posts for that matter to call me out on this) call anyone the best of anything? Capiche? Are we on the same page now? It's a silly idea in the first place. At least we both agree he's a top level zerg and has been for sometime.

Crap guys i messed up. Left the stream on, but i missed the games. Sounds like a spectacular finish to the finals.
Is it possible to find the vods anywhere yet?

I first raised my eyebrows when he took out Thorzain and coming in 9th to 12th is pretty damn impressive at such a hard event.
he kinda reminded me of mc back in the day. with like 95% allins or timing allins from 1 or 2 bases. pretty sneaky play i think, but very predicdable. but his pvp is kinda impressive i must say.

Actually, worldwide trends are universal to everyone - that's part of their marketing/news value. You get a tailored list only if you don't specify a country or worldwide. Leenock was on there!
Oh, then that sort of makes sense then but I'm still very skeptical. I've tested it for a few things and it's not the same as what I got.

He's the guy that raged at PandaTank in the EU WCS qualifiers and then made some thread on TL about it. Someone put it on his liquipedia page lol. It was a funny series though. You should look at the VOD for it. I think it's linked on his liquipedia page too.

Great Finals! During his wins Naniwa looked godlike. Seriously like Top 3 Korean Protoss! I'm very impressed with his play and his unique style.
