Stephano hasn't put up results in months. That leaves Naniwa. 2x GSL Ro8 and Dreamhack finalist.

The better player won, was a shame for the audience and possibly for DH.. being on national tv and having a sweed win it would have probably been a huge boost for DH... really pretty epic games and really nice to see foreigners taking out awesome Koreans. Also good to see that JD is fucking back

So what did we learn this tournament;

Dreamhack is still the best tournament organiser out there (Hi Blizzard)
Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet at this moment
Nani could probably still cut it in the later rounds in Code S.

...considering that RoRo, Soulkey, Symbol, Life and soO weren't there I hardly think its fair to say. I mean, Leenock didn't even make it to Ro16 from GSL, unlike 7 of his fellow Zergs. I don't think we can say he's the best Zerg on the planet ATM. That probably falls to RoRo or Life, tbh.

He's not the best atm, but he did have to fight through Life and Parting, probably 2 best players of their race atm...

What? 2 GSL ro8s is better than almost all foreigners except Stephano.

Can't you just stop already?.. Basicly all the time anybody says something that is not " nani best foreigner" you mention his 2 code S runs.. now what if i tell you that jinro is the best foreigner because he was in a semifinal? how many times was nani in a code s semifinal?

...Nani has gone head to head with Koreans fairly recently. Jinro's achievements were good, but ancient history.

Who else matches up?

Stop talking about some shitty F2P game in a thread about StarCraft.

Grats Leenock. Sick run, well deserved win!

You do know how long ago the 2x Ro8 was right? Might as well make a case for Jinro again if we're dating it that much.

That said: one tournament is one tournament. I mean, people were saying how obviously Flash was #1 terran after MLG and he then went on a 4/5 game losing streak in PL.

End of the day: one tournament is one tournament.

I'm pretty sad that Naniwa didn't win that. It would have been nice to crown a new King of the North.

Well played, Naniwa. Great entertainment above all else. It's too bad that you're not perfect enough to beat a monster like Leenock, but you have the potential. This will be a great year for you.

Close for Nani but he played well and did far better than expected by reaching the final i think so he can be happy. And he made it for an exciting ending with JD and Leenock.

This DH was awesome Would have been perfect with a JD win but oh well :p

Leenock is amazing but I wish he was one of these koreans trying tolearn english a bit. He doesn't seems to want to try, but he's young, I respect that.

Actually his English is really good.

Quite a few koreans have great english. fOrGG impressed me when I spoke to him.
