I kind of agree, I don't get these statements.

As a Zerg player, Leenock (one of the few consistent Zerg players throughout all of SC2) is definitely a fan favorite.

Even as not a Zerg player, I always cheer for anyone who is consistent at winning (and Leenock is one of them).

Now if only MVP can regain his form back for his 5 time championship GSL victory (well, he's competing in WCS EU now though, but maybe one day...).

Anyway, upsets would be fine but only if there are actual consistent players in the game (SC2 has few consistent players, and SC2 needs more of that).

I mean in Dota 2, it was fun rooting against Navi when they were owning everything. But nowadays, I want them to own as much as they did before because they haven't been doing as well anymore .

So what did we learn this tournament;

Leenock is prob the best Zerg on the planet at this moment
Nani could probably still cut it in the later rounds in Code S.

man, I was expecting more out of this last game.. kind of a let-down he chose to go for an easy finish with the 2-base all in

Kind of a let down? How about you get to the finals of a major event and then you decide how to end the game

I would have prob chickened out and done a 4-gate, but I'm not naniwa. I was expecting more from this game, thus it was a let down for me

120k viewers not bad

that's weekly LCS numbers

Not really, only when it is between popular teams.

I often see 70k-80k viewers when it's between bottom bracket teams. So don't sweat it, SC2 is "fighting" well against the LoL viewership.

Yeah, they only have 70k everyday.

That was somewhat anticlimactic.. The tension and joy of leenock mainly.

In this tournaments, it is always anti-climactic ending. Remember when Moon failed 6 pool against HuK?(And that was the last game if I remember at that Dreamhack). I knew that Naniwa is going to do some sort of an All-in, I just thought he was going to do some hidden Proxy Gates all-in.
