Maybe it's because Shine said in his interview after ro32 that he wants to play RorO in the next round, that people think he may pick him, but I don't think so either.

Actually I think all the groups, in this case, would be better than group D. It was sarcasm.

This is probably going to have the most people of the entire tournament. They're giving away 16 copies of HotS signed by players and a fucking monitor. Koreans love free shit, so expect 150+ nerds packed in the studio to get some free swag.

Can't believe that people think Roro will select his teammate, Shine...

Groups that are possible AND that I'd like to see:

Group A:
(Z)RorO Advances to Ro8 in first.
(Z)KangHo
(T)YoDa
(Z)Soulkey Advances to Ro8 in second.

Group B:
(P)PartinG
(Z)Life Advances to Ro8 in second.
(T)Flash Advances to Ro8 in first.
(P)Flying

Group C:
(T)TaeJa Advances to Ro8 in second.
(Z)Shine
(T)Bomber
(P)sOs Advances to Ro8 in first.

Group D:
(Z)Symbol Advances to Ro8 in second.
(P)Flying
(T)GuMiho
(T)INnoVation Advances to Ro8 in first.

Ro8 matches:
(Z)RorO 2-3 (Z)Life
(P)sOs 3-0 (Z)Symbol
(T)Flash 3-1 (Z)Soulkey
(T)INnoVation 3-1 (T)TaeJa

Semi-Finals:
(Z)Life 4-2 (P)sOs
(T)Flash 3-4 (T)INnoVation

Finals:
(Z)Life 3-4 (T)INnoVation

Boom. Greatest GSL of all time.

Bomber has probably the most consistent TvP out of any player in SC2 history, if that means anything. He's inconsistent in other MUs.

Well ok, my point still stands I guess? :D
As we see, there aren't many Protoss players here.

Why is Life a pickeable player when he has the highest ranking of anyone left in the tournament? Is it because he didn't finish first in his group?

It's based on GSL point ranking.

Because they're using the 2013 ranking and not the cumulative ranking. Life did worse than the other 4 players last season so he isn't seeded, despite having a higher cumulative ranking.

It's always been based on point ranking for as long as I've been watching it.

"The four players with the highest GSL 2013 point rankings are distributed to the four groups - 1st place to Group A, 2nd to group D, 3rd to group C and 4th to Group B.
