MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

Then they better have a really good way of selecting another x number of players from the NA scene.
For that matter, why don't they just have direct seeds into NA Code A like they did with NA Code S? Seriously, this tournament is becoming dumber if we end up having a tournament where we have "congrats, you finished top 40 in a tournament with 16 Koreans in it, you get to play in a smaller tournament with more Koreans in it for the NA Challenger league."

I have a feeling Team Liquid would be pretty pissed if Taeja had no chance to qualify for Code A, thus missing playing in Code S in any region next season, because of the way MLG designed their system. There has to be more invites than just the 32 people left over from this qualifier.

Given that it's 16 spots, I would imagine more than 32 players are playing for it. you would imagine, but at this point would you be surprised if it was only those 32?

Maybe it was invites for seeds? idk. I think if any of the tournaments should have been huge and open it should be the Challenger League qualis

Yeah, guess what... they cast those from replays aswell

A 32 person bracket sounds exactly like the MLG Arenas from last year where the top 16 got seeded into group stage and free plane trips to the Championship.

Taeja should just stay in Korea, he has the ability to compete in WCS KR.

NA Tournament without NA's player is awesome! right?

He wants to win back to back titles without breaking a sweat, it's too hard in KR.

Polt, Hyun, Hero, violet, Ryung... maybe... nestea on a good day but that's a pretty big stretch. everyone else is more or less code b or worse unless im missing someone (i guess alive is code a but i dont see him beating taeja) much better than facing 31 other Code S level players

It's more a question of: should Zenio, JD, JYP, and Hyun play in their Dreamhack bracket stage, or should they play in the NA Code A qualifier?

They'll probably play both if it's anything like this qualifier... 3 hours between each round is plenty of time to play their DreamHack and WCS qualifier games...

Obviously Dreamhack. Dreamhack is less likely to DQ them :p

It's more a question of getting dinged lost games or DQs for not showing up to your WCS qualifier on time (and vice-versa for Dreamhack broadcasted games).

I really want to know if there will be a world final after NA EU KR Tournament and what will happen if the top64 or top32 in world final are all Korean.

I hope peeps will not look at nationality so much, and just enjoy the games between top performers. that would be best. Why is nationality such a big issue for some people? If u dont make it an issue it wont become one....
