Soulkey delaying that third and transitioning to corrupters at the correct timing really shut Hero down.

Twitch audience isn't always the same as TL audience, SKT vs KT will be more popular on TL but EGTL's games will be more popular to the casuals who watch twitch.tv and have never been to this place.

I'm sorry but how? The scoreline? Everyone except Oz has played bad from EG-TL.

Please explain what jeadong could have done better

Also, JYP played very good midgame, just a huge misread of his opponent army strenght lost him the game.

And Huk nervous as hell.

Jaedong lost the game, then Aria decided to have all of his zealots chase queens around mineral lines so his all in did ZERO damage. Yet, through bad decisions, Jaedong lost his third and macro hatch to a half-assed immortal sentry second all-in where one of the immortals was instantly picked off while he completely forgot about the recall ability. Even though Aria could win right there with a base trade as Jaedong had nothing at home, he recalls and defends, putting him ahead. However, Aria decided that he doesn't want to react to Mutalisks and lost all of his probes. His reaction time was 4 full seconds from when the mutalisks entered his vision, he even had stalkers right there. Jaedong then decides to suicide in to Aria's 2nd losing everything for nothing and putting Aria back in the game. Then Aria decides to attack in to spine crawlers (terribly positioned), ignoring the 2nd where he could have won the game by killing all the morphing crawlers, killing the third and walking up in to 30 spine crawlers.

Terrible game by both players.

If you only take in the mistakes players make then any game out there can be considered terrible, you also have to keep in mind the good things players did.

I just described everything that happened in that game and there are glaring errors in every single play.

No you described everything that happend in your mind. There is a difference.

hahah this is exactly what i thought when i read his post

though he is right, the game was really bad :D

Yeah it wasn't high quality but i would not call it Terrible either it also had his good moments.

Grats Soulkey !

Stop with this, he clearly could have played better or you didn't watch the game.
You are wrong on all post you are either not someone that know a lot about SC2 or a HUUUUUUUUGE fangirl.

I know jaedong didn't play perfect but he did not play anywhere near as awful as you make it out to be. Being caught by an un scouted 7 gate and having a late roach warren he defended extremely well even though the toss messed up and lost the warp prism.

He honestly could have defended vs that immortal/sentry push better sure, but I wouldn't say anywhere close to terrible.

He played very greedy yes and should be punished by it, not even a spine was thrown down. (in the start)
If you truly can't defend your base after having a good lead and seeing that your opponent is coming not once but two and actually even three times.
Imo you shouldn't get a "well played" even not OK but "Improve you didn't play good."

#nofluff

That was my point. He played extremely greedy (I never said he didn't) and he defended about as good as you could considering the situation. He microd his units very well, got his queens to snipe warp prism and then defended. Again playing greedy and getting caught and then defending it very well doesn't = "Wow jaedong played terrible he wasn't prepared!" that's a "jaedong played super greedy should have died/taken a lot of damage but was able to defend very well considering the situation".

At least understand what you are calling terrible and what happened. He also didn't even see the army until it was pretty much at his third so yeah he had no time to put down spines.

Exactly.

But what I'm saying is that if JD was up against a better Protoss, he would have had no chance.
I may come off too hard on the kid but thats whats needed to get some sense into the EG-TL prising fangirls.

On a game related note, thats what happens when you play bad and the player you are facing is on your level and not below.
The curse is real

So you're saying 12 +1 zealots DIDN'T chase queens around? You're saying the MSC DIDN'T suicide by starying a mile away from the army into two queens?

Yeah, you're not gonna change your mind. Jaedong can do no wrong to you. Go away.

Soulkey vs HerO

The map is Bel'Shir Vestige.

Soulkey starts in the top left position
HerO starts in the bottom right position

4:00min
Soulkey goes for Pool on 15 Supply, Hero starts with the 17 Forge and 18 Nexus
HerO blocks the natural of Soulkey with a Pylon, Soulkey takes his third first

HerO goes for Gateway before Cannon, Soulkey only builds 2 Zerglings and is now able to take his natural

8:00min
Soulkey takes 2 Gas around 6 minutes and builds more Drones
Hero takes map control with a Zealot, a Stalker and his Mothership-Core

Hero tries to take a fast third but misses a Ling-Runby and has to cancel
Soulkey builds more Lings to defend Heros Poke with Momma-Core and Zealot-Stalker.

10:00min
Hero builds 2 Stargates and starts building Voidrays while scouting Soulkey's Spire with a hallucinated Phoenix
Soulkey tries to do a Ling-Runby when Hero moves out to clear his third of an Overlord but gets denied.
He scouts the Voidrays and starts a bunch of Corruptors instead of Mutas

12:00min
Hero builds a bunch of Phoenix while Soulkey takes his 4th and transitions into Hydras
Corruptors stay active on the map, trying to snipe Hero's Phoenixes

14:00min
Hero harasses the 4th of Soulkey with his Phoenixes but Soulkey goes for a huge frontal attack with Lings, Hydras and Corruptors
Hero only has gateway units and some voidrays, Soulkey's Corruptors very quickly take out Hero air units

Hero tries to defend with gateway-units against Soulkey's Hydras but there are just too many Hydras to kill without splash damage
Hero gets pushed back into his natural, Soulkey keeps reinforcing.
Hero loses his last few Gateway units and is forced to leave the game!
Just ahead of time, know your addiction's not a crime. It's just a smaller part of who you want to become in the end.
