I really liked MC's build but I think getting 3 oracles just to control space and not doing damage at all is not that good which was proven by Ryungs perfect response of playing defensive setting up a 3 base upgrade timing which was just too much to deal with without storm and worse upgrades for MC.

That's why I didn't liked the idea of sending MC as an ace. He likes gimmcky play, and proves it once more. If he went with the first oracle, he could have done some damage (before the turret was up), but we waited 2 to be able to a lot of dmg and ended doing "nothing" and putting MC behind.
Not that it is bad in a general way, but a "safe protoss" would maybe have been a better idea :/

Edit : I still consider MC as the/one of the best protoss in the world, but it's not really the player you want for a Bo1...

Great result for Axiom-Acer not like LG-IM sent out their B team'ers this GSTL either MVP, Yoda, MC all top IM Players.

Very impressive showing from Axiom-Acer in two series so far, they took out the strongest teams so far, very good start. I didn't expect them to do so good right off the bat, but it looks like the core of SlayerS is still there.

Far more important than the fact that AA are 2-0 up, they are 2-0 up against arguably the two best teams in the GSTL. I was rooting for them from the beginning but they are far exceeding my expectations. Loving this so far.

MC is one of the best Protoss in the world, but he also relies heavily on his builds. If you hit him with preperation or good reads he is a lot more screwed than other Protoss players. First/YongHwa are scary in PvT because they play so active without relying on timings while still being able to hit them with their builds. That would be my take on it.
