Give it a few months before talking major balance. Zerg are so used to playing passive aggressive most of the time- open with 3 super quick bases then basically rely on defending the eventual pressure. The PvZ match up has needed a shake up for a long time.

Hopefully after rolling IEM and winning the GSTL prelim IM won't hurt me again and shit the bed in the real GSTL this time

How could you not want to watch Code S now it has Flash/Fantasy in it, arguably (outside of Boxer and Nada) 2 of the best terrans of all time <3

No offense to Nerchio, but let's be fair here. If Mana could beat him what chance did he really have vs First, Yoda, Yonghwa or MVP?

Mana's good but those guys are on a different level.


well, going by previous tournament results he absolutly has to be named with these others.

I mean, it's quite easy to say "if mana could beat him" after the games have been played. Ret beat First in this very IEM... Still he stood no chance against Yongwha. Still First could take the tournament.

LG-IM looking pretty good. Too bad for all the Zerg players, but atleast they have seen quite alot of Zergs in the last months of WoL. Hope Mvp wins this!

Sure. By dodging I meant preemtively splitting and taking low damage from storms and also for the zealots and archons the locusts work well. What we could agree on, is that in HOTS is far more essential for zergs (at least from my experience) to scout protoss army composition.


Really excellent point, in WoL there was no real need for zerg to scout protoss past the midgame as we were going to go for BL infestor. Both races now have different compositions to head for that require different responses,many of these responses are far from being figured out, it makes the matchup far more entertaining.

storm is much less effective against roaches than collosus, also less reliable if you dotn factor in vipers
