Range phoenix look way too good against corruptors though, that should probably be looked at as I can't imagine they're intended to beat them.
It's not the Void Ray/Colossus but the Void Ray/archon/templar that is the problem. Zerg needs to kill the protoss or cripple him economically before the Protoss reaches that composition.
I think both of them are quite strong and only very specific counters apply to each, (maybe more sh/hydra oriented vs. the second composition while more hydra/viper oriented vs the first)
The templars replaces the collosus with PSI storm witch murders hydras due to their low HP so for all purposes as of anti ground army concerned both compositions are the same regarding power.
At least it is more microable and maybe a good zerg can dodge some of them
doesn't matter, even if you dodge them the hydras are so damaged that voidrays and archons with their splash damage takes out them relativley easy, and don't even get me started on if Protoss decides to have 4-5 zealots in his army.

I mean let's be honest. Other than Violet and MAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYBE Stephano.
Were there any Zergs even in attendance that are even close to the level of the 4 LG-IM players currently occupying the top 4 spots?
This result seems rather expected to me when I saw the brackets a couple days ago. The only real contest here was First vs Violet and even then I think First is an overall superior player.
IM just stacked this bracket too hard and they didn't bring any Zergs with them.

I would argue that Ret is one of the best foreign zergs and he showed again that he can compete with the best players out there, remember he beat first this tournament already.
Today Yonghwa had done his homework and executed really well, I also think Ret was on tilt but he still showed his talen

What is the purpose of the MSC? Even in WoL toss kinda had defenders advantage when attacking and easy to defend/control area. Now they can attack with even less risk and more defenders advantage?
I gotta say everything about that last game was a work of art from First, from evading the OL to clearing the watchtower, to pylon placement. Incredible.
Newsflash btw - LotV is launching 12.3.12, HotS will be the third expansion

There were more good players then only zergs you know, what a load of bullocks.
I'm not saying they aren't good. Clearly all of them are pro players.
But being good and being as good as LG-IM's GSL players is a big jump.
