Terran is imbalanced.

Every time a terran uses a new unit/ability and doesn't fall flat on his face, the LR threads explode with balance whining.

Better get used to it.

GSL TvP has always been 60:40 or better for Terran, apart from early to mid 2012

Stop spreading bullshit

2011: GSL sponsor tournaments: 57%
2011: GSL super tournament 2011: 74%
2012: GSL Seasons 1,2,3, 4: 48-53%
2012: GSL Seasons 5: 58%
2013: GSL Sseaons 1: 60%

Funny, when people deny commentaries that are build upon measurable data.

What does polt destroying the super tournament have to do with anything? Set Win Ratio 50.9%
329W / 317L

That's the win ratio for the entirety of 2012 and I don't even know what you are whining about at this point.

nothing. It's you who quoted me for spreading facts

You're pathetic lol totally manipulating the data to make yourself look correct. I didn't even need to look at statistics to know that your original claim was absolute bullshit

There were no facts on that quote though, cherry picking data doesn't accomplish you anything, 51% TvP and that's it, get over it.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

This. I'm not saying that medivacs are balanced (they do seem strong), but I think we should wait until we see players like PartinG or Rain play against players like Mvp or MarineKing, so we get to see how it works at the very top level.

Mvp would've won that game without the speed boost as well, Grubby was way behind after that opening.

dunno about rain. seems like he gets picked apart by multitasking terrans a lot. dream and flash tore him apart pretty easily

If he knew it was happening.

He had no tech to cover the drop (blink, observers, phoenix, or hts for feedback), because he invested so heavily in DTs (and charge first, and archons to cover the frontal attack).

Absolutely absurd to call it imbalanced because MVP beat Grubby after a failed DT opening.

Because it requires absolutely stupid amounts of micro to use the way MVP did.

I seriously doubt the imbalance extends beyond the top tier pros.

Well but that's what it is about, the game has to be balanced around Flash, Rain and Roro.

Now Flash with these medivacs is not balanced.

I remember there being a great quote about someone telling Boxer that dropships now healed.

Kespa terrans are going to break the game behind medivac play. It is going to be devestating and absolutely glorious in its totality.

[Still we have a whole tournament to see how it all pans out and even if it's theoretically a bad design choice it might work out. Also DT opening *]

And you know that how? Are you some kind of oracle who just KNOWS that people wont be able to defend these drops once they learn to deal with it? Btw im considering playing the lottery, can you inbox me the winning numbers please?

Foreigner Terrans been playing HotS longer yet have awful records at IEM, couldn't they just use their magic I Win Ships to maybe pick up some victories? I mean come on. MVP would have beaten Grubby in WoL after that DT kill starsense anyway.

They did research on opponents and 'mental training'

The ironic thing is, players not being able to practice physically (not enough PCs at IEM with HoTS) make Mvp have an even bigger advantage. Given his wrist conditions, I would think he does more 'mental training' then almost every pro out there.

Or Grubby could play something else than Zealots/Archons—the unit composition which is the most vulnerable to mass drop play because your only anti-air is a clunky short-ranged unit—in a game drastically improving said drop play? For example a 150/150 upgrade which allows your Stalkers to teleport to any location within 8 range instead of having to awkwardly bypass cliffs and such with your whole army.

Yeah I think it would've been a very successful drop in WoL as well. Speed medivacs are a bit much though lol

Exactly. Medivac speed may be imbalanced, but this series sure wasn't an example of that.

Depends on the form of Rain frankly speaking.

I remember he was beating the hot Terrans(Taeja,Polt) during their prime.
Rain actually has one of the best multi-tasking defense.

Play your best

That shit is getting nerfed, no way it can stay in the game. They will prolly put a energy requirement on it so that Terran has to sacrifice something in order to execute it, right now it's just stupid. like make it cost 25 energy or something.
