Or did he get a extra early copy ? Just for example in the groups played today, Ret switched to HotS almost at the release of the beta because he was falling off in WoL and wanted to get a head start, also the new game might have motivated him again. Kas and LucifroN were successful and motivated until the end, Kas practiced solely WoL for ages because he wanted to do well at this IEM which most people thought would be WoL, because who would hold a tournament in an unreleased game while the beta is down. LucifroN had a lot of WoL tournaments left to play and trained WoL hard for IEM and others, they both just started HotS two weeks ago. Basically they got punished hard because they wanted to well at IEM while others were rewarded because they didn't committ to one event, just like Naniwa with IPL being cancelled now.

Even if he wins 2-0 and slivko wins 2-1 and hasuobs loses lucifron is tied with nerchio on map score and nerchio won head to head and if slivko wins 2-0 he is tied with lucifron on map score and slivko won head to head.
