This reminded me of the Curious vs Symbol game from yesterday on daybreak. 1 player had a big advantage after killing the other player's 3rd and still took a while to win in a dragged out game. Clearly means TaeJa is gonna win

Yesterday, Fionn chose Symbol to win though.

This map is so ugly, this map pool is sooo in zerg favor, do GomTv think that there is not enough zerg in the last GSL?

Come on chill with the Terran bias. Roro played brilliantly in the mid game, he was just way too conservative (nerves perhaps, not wanting to risk a bad engage), he could have killed off Taeja a lot earlier if he just went for it.

Not to say Taeja didn't play a brilliant game as well, but Roro outplayed him up to the late game.

The rest of this series is going to be a battle between Roro trying to do sufficient mid game damage to snowball into the late game, and Taeja trying to go into the late game on fairly even econ, where he excels.

That's what I thought actually... you are not MMA Taeja... and RorO is not IdrA! >.<

totally dont get why taeja took that 3rd instant of the one towards the zerg, he couldve held the muta ling bane pressure so easily

the one closer to zerg is better actually. You can defend your third and put pressure at the same time.

Getting the third far away was a bad idea against aggressive zerg. Because you just can't defend your third, your main and be aggressive at the same time. you'll just always be running around trying to catch lings and mutas on a map that u cannot trap

Taeja playing extremely well, though you can kinda see him struggling at times (probably because of bad wrists). I really like Roro, but for the sake of eSPORTS, we need a TvZ finals!

Taeja starting to look like the real deal once again and Roro playing just as good. Pretty happy that i took this day off, worth watching indeed.

Yeah I thought the vikings may have shot it. It was in the orange still when the mutas flew away and the vikings were facing towards it like they were shooting at it. Marines probably too.

Damn lol. I guess Taeja doesn't have magical MMA powers anymore now that he's no longer on Slayers

Well he's giving RorO a message with that, that he's not going to be able to take a win easy by any means. Those wrists can rest later, better to put the fear in your opponent.

Out of curiosity, how often is this correct? You should keep that statistic :O (Maybe not scoreline, but winner)

Think the mutapack had it anyway. Lategame was just a terrible decision on this map.

Lategame is actually Terran favored on this map. It's just hard to reach it. Trying to reach it is certainly a better choice than doing a 2base all-in.

How so ?

I thought zerg just starts getting all these spread out bases that can't get touched.

2 base all-in terran vs a Zerg who takes the whole map is inherently exciting because it looks like Terran is about to win even when they're about to lose.

I'm referencing something very specific here.

That makes sense, when it happened I thought to myself there was no way his mutas had time to kill it without getting slaughtered by marines

Well if he goes mech, does a 2 rax, super nuke lategames and does some awesome Polt all-in then I'll believe he's really channeling it.

When zerg gets more than 4 bases, they don't really set up defense to protect them, so it's very easy for 8 marines to kill em off

Fionn curse only applies to hyped matches. Symbol/Curious wasn't important enough to invoke its wrath.
