Not really, Flying revealed his Stargate play straight away.
There was a probe more than halfway across the map which wasn't scouted and allowed Flying to set multipronged attacks with Warpgates.
In hindsight, what Naniwa has done in the GSL is incredible. Everyone else that tries have fallen apart.
