Stephano has NEVER won an MLG, has won nothing since he 'beat' Bomber at LSC2 by losing to him in the finals, has lost early in foreign gutter events such as dreamhack, and has recently lost to players such as idra and xlord.

Best foreigner? So what? there are 100 Koreans that could have that titile. He hasn't proved anything except that he's not that good at SC2 compared to Koreans.

Today is just another example of a long line of examples of why giving seeds to foreigners is moronic. Did you see the player list of guys that lost in the Code B qualifiers? It's comprised of literally dozens of players more talented, and that train harder than Stephano could have dream of. They don't get paid 1,000s of dollars and they're not pampered. They labor all day every day to have a shot at GSL and a player like Stephano gets seeded into Code S. Such an action should bring bile to their throats.

Stephano earned his Code S spot long time in the past.... now Polt dropped out and he has taken it. If any foreigner did "earn" a spot, its Stephano, because he literally earned it and not got it credited because he's foreigner. He just never took it until now.

He didn't "literally" earn it. No foreigner has ever made it through the Code A qualifiers and neither did he.

Didn't Huk back in the day? Or Jinro?

Nope. As I said, no foreigner has ever done so.

I think MacSed did but I've been wrong too often recently

Jinro made it through the open season qualifiers.

No foreigner ever made Code A through the qualifiers for WoL.

Yeah Idra and Jinro were the only 2 players I think to legitimately earn code S though from open season and stuff from qualifying for the open to getting into code S.
When I think of something else, something will go here

Does Polt pull SCV's? I think he doesn't, but I'm not sure.

Polt has at least 2 different Hellion-Marauder all-ins. Sometimes he pulls SCVs, sometimes he doesn't

It depends on the rush distance on maps and opennings I think.

It think it's more what he scouts the opponent doing, as a hellion-marauder gives you 2 factories and 3 barracks, if sufficient damage is done you can transition into either a continued 2base all in, add 2 more barracks and switch buildings around so you have 2fact siege tank, 4 rax with reactor and 1 tech lab. Or he can throw down a 3rd CC and defend it easily with 2fact siege tank production.

DRG

No, DRG made it through the Code B qualifiers. It was the season where it felt like the most rigged bracket ever to make him get through finally. He beat Cella in the finals.

Didn't he get Code S via MLG?

He was already in Code A when he got seeded into Code S. Then he dropped back to Code A, and re-qualified for Code S.

You can't earn a seed by going through the code a qualifiers. You earn a seed by winning stuff other than the qualifiers.

Id like to add that korean's have also already profited from this seed system, be it MC or Polt. It's not foreigner only, it's a seedd for accomplishments in Foreign tourney's.

A lot of party poopers in this thread, Stephano finally in code S, we have had 2 foreigners in this GSL. Why so bitter and bitchy guys?

Game 3?!

spoiler free polls

Why are there spoiler free polls in a LR thread...

for the OP when people go to see what games are interesting before they watched but dont want to be spoiled for series length

You, fanboys, are being so blind, bogus is far way of "toughest opponent in gsl". Just look at this game, DRG saved that hatch like a boss, stephano still didnt show he is code S material.

stephano has proven himself repeatedly... you don't win the tournaments he has without being 'pretty good' I imagine

Stephano has NEVER won an MLG, has won nothing since he 'beat' Bomber at LSC2 by losing to him in the finals, has lost early in foreign gutter events such as dreamhack, and has recently lost to players such as IdrA and Xlord.

Best foreigner? So what? there are 100 Koreans that could have that title.

Or Jinro?

Jinro made it through the open season qualifiers.

No foreigner ever made Code A through the qualifiers for WoL.

Yeah Idra and Jinro were the only 2 players I think to legitimately earn code S though from open season and stuff from qualifying for the open to getting into code S.

I hope Scarlett will try for the qualifiers next season, she might have a chance.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

Game 3?!

spoiler free polls

Why are there spoiler free polls in a LR thread...

Because the polls go in the OP under " recommend games " and people who watch VODs can check the ratings to see what is worth watching, when you open a series it shows all three games at once so you don't have to open a million spoiler tabs. If you only show game 1 and 2 there they know the series was 2-0 so whoever won game 1 is the winner.
