The problem with MMA is he always had one weak match up which led to his downfall. Back in the day it was always his TvP. Recently it's been his TvZ. He got knocked out of every recent tournament he's played in TvZs (Ironsquid, Homestory Cup and now GSL).

It must also be selective, like not being able to win a single match on all the attempts. It would be like the Nestea award, only the award creator would be able to get it. Edit : But 10 consecutive fail attempts should be selective enough.

That's just not true, MMA was winning/getting deep in tournaments and had an 80% TvZ before Coach Ryu joined SlayerS. Obviously the two together were great, and Ryu definitely helped him a ton, but it's pure foolishness to suggest that Coach Ryu was the most important factor.

Yeah, Coach Ryu was just the guy who ended up getting MMA to achieve his fullest potential on the individual setting. MMA won his first GSL when Ryu joined and was doing very well individually as well.

Just not that he was key for MMA to at least be a force to be reckoned with, as was suggested earlier.

Even having, say, dreamertt advance again would be better than 3+ players who nobody has ever heard of, and two more who are known for being very bottom of the barrel (in SC2) in terms of 'notable' kespa players. Sigh...
