Liquid and EG should stick to the old style with foreigners you can relate with.

You would love to see them get smashed week after week - even worse than now - for an entire year? A weird sense of entertainment.

Jaedong, Hero, Stephano and Huk smashed every week? ...

I am a Huk fan, but objectively speaking, watching him play, he's not good.

I don't get why HerO, Jaedong, and Stephano aren't consistently played. With Taeja hurt, those are the three players I'd trust the most to win games. People are saying things like Stephano doesn't want to give away strats for Code S. If that's the case, have him practice the KeSPA maps in Proleague (which he should be learning anyways) and put him out on those. People are saying HerO hasn't performed that well in Proleague. This may be true, but he's much more likely to give you a chance to win games than Puma or Zenio. If their roster was healthy, they'd have HerO, Jaedong, Stephano, and Taeja. If all of those guys get played, there's a good chance you win a few games and then use the less consistent JYP and Revival to grab another and potentially win the match.

Despite me complaining though, I think not having Taeja really hurt this team, especially in Round 2. Injuries suck.

Zenio's games should be played by stephano. Other than that, not much to complain.

HerO is already in the lineup for this match, just not lucky with the map draw to get to that point. Jaedong has played good amount of games recently, with less than expected wins in all-kill format though. Puma as the best terran other than Taeja, he has to replace Taeja with his injury.

2nd tier players need to step up to win some games, can't rely upon only 4 players in regular format. Right now, supporting players can't even win 1 game.

I think the lack of foreigners is most disappointing. If Thorzain, HuK and Stephano play more often, then they would still lose, but at least there would be the excitement of having fan favorites. I would apply the same logic to picking Jaedong over Revival. I don't care that Revival might be slightly better in team-rankings or whatever, I want to be able to see Jaedong play every week and chart his progress.

I also hope that IdrA will participate during Round 4, he could very well be the best HotS player in the world right now.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

Huh didnt Thorzain beat Classic in one of the earlier rounds?
Do some of you really believe that Puma(0-5) is better than Thorzain?
Sure Thorzain spend all day playing HotS, but he might get better with enough stage time and practice.
Puma peaked like 18 months ago and has been getting worse and worse ever since with no signs of improvement.

Unfortunately, Taeja's injured, and Stephano is most likely preoccupied/being rested for Code S. Pretty big handicap on EG-TL to have their two best players out of commission, and sadly, their usually steady supports of JYP/Revival couldn't pull out the wins this time.

What Huk is good at is carefully prepared timings. Proleague is a format where he could definitely contribute.

Round 4, EG-TL has a good chance of doing really well with the people they have focused on HotS.

Pretty funny not to see stephano play when he's only in korea for a limited time until all the foreign tourneys ramp up again in March, then I see him not playing PL for the rest of the year or at least not very much at all.

Was very 1 sided.

Jaedong saw no forge FE went fast lair and did a speed roach timing that killed trap.

Trap went 1 gate expo into stargate + robo + twilight unless I am mistaken. When he went stargate he started out phoenix so he had 2-3 phoenix when the roach timing hit and like 4 sentries.

When I think of something else, something will go here

The thing is, while Revival may be better in team rankings, nobody beats the dong televised, not on that team. His "nervous" is the rest of the team's hanging from 1,000 foot cliff over the top of 900 foot dinosaurs with a stiff breeze while their nose itches and saggy poop drawers. He should be the go-to zerg and he should always (unless for toms-foolery mind tricks) play ace.

If that's true, then that's exactly why I wouldn't play him. It may net you a few wins in the short-term, but if you have faith in the team and want it to grow long-term, why field players that won't be around later?

Yeah sure...Stephano, Taeja and Hero are (way) better than Jaedong right now (Hero should never play an ace match though).

I'm tired of this argument. HuK got seeded straight into Code S. He dropped into Code B last year and would still be there if it weren't for the seed.

Can't judge a player poorly or well based on results. If you watched his code S games he won, they were really shaky, awful games that basically indicated nothing. He hasn't shown a hint of depth in a long time.

He's focusing on GSL. Same reason we didn't see JD play before due to GSL.

If you're tired, you should at least get your facts right. HuK got a seed into up and downs and he downright deserved it, beating Fantasy, Center and Flying, but losing to NesTea and finale. He bombed out of Code S simply because he was in a very hard group with Sniper (last champ), GuMiho and Bomber (both top code S terran). He tries for the Prelims every time and gets somewhat better each time; he barely didn't make it last time. I'm sure HuK can make a decent run into Code A at least. He may not be as good as Proleague, but he did put up a good performance in GSL.
A mind sharper than any blade.

I think it's that plus the fact the opposite team was STX Soul, the team of his direct opponent in GSL.
I'm not saying it is a good idea since STX Soul let Bogus play. I don't know.
