I think there's a fetishistic idea in sc2 that each game should be strategically unique or else it's stale. With how fragile both players were in zvz it meant that each little detail was sooo sooo important. that one drone snipe was fucking massive. Then you have the spliting and cloning of scourges and the mutapacks microing to kill them or get free shots. That's intense. Admittedly i don't understand sc2 zvz that well so maybe I'm missing something. I just don't see the same sort of knife fight going on or hell any weird micromoment (pvp iwth reavers <3) that makes it very dynamic. It seems more macro focused and while that's something that can be appreciated it isn't sexy like amazing control or important moments. | ||
