What? 3 koreans in top8, 1in ro16

I mean the upper part of the bracket.
Its even 2 in ro16, so 5 total, but only First in the upper part.

There is only one bracket O.o? No upper or lower bracket just the one.... First, Parting and Dream all came out on top of their groups and are in the quarter finals.

Cut it in half through the middle.

PvZ seems to be really tough for the zergies now...

It's like 14:5 in favour of protoss... I would discard games by Siphonn and one loss by Mana (as he was sure ha advances) and then we get 12:2.

The only meaningful series won by zergs were Moonglade vs Grubby and Nerchio vs Verdi. This looks really awful for TLO who has to face two strong tosses in a row to get intor Ro4. I'd say he has a 40% to win vs Mana and 30% vs First. 12% to advance into ro4.

I feel that Nerchio has a better shot at this. I say he's at 50% vs Daisy and 40% vs Dream (that depends on how good is his macro). I think he struggles in Zv(K)T as there are very few Terrans that play a Code-A level Terran in Europe.

12:2 is like 85% win ratio for Protoss.
Blizzard need to revert all the last infestor nerfs and give queen 7 range to help blocking the 2 immortal push.

Didn't get to watch any, but looked over the scores... Luci beating Parting was nice to see. But socke 5-0, christ lol that dude is a beast in every EU tourney I see him in.

RO12-Finals hopes/predictions:
+ Show Spoiler +
Hopes
+ Show Spoiler +
MaNa 2-3 TLO
LucifroN 2-3 Kas
Daisy 3-1 Nerchio
YoDa 2-3 Grubby

First 0-3 TLO
Socke 1-3 Kas
Dream 3-2 Daisy
PartinG 1-3 Grubby

TLO 1-3 Kas
Dream 0-3 Grubby

Kas 2-3 Grubby

Predictions:
+ Show Spoiler +
MaNa 1-3 TLO
LucifroN 3-2 Kas (But debatable)
Daisy ?-? Nerchio (This one is debatable)
YoDa 3-1 Grubby

TLO 0-3 First
Socke 3-1 Kas/LucifroN
Dream 3-1 Daisy/Nerchio
PartinG ?-? YoDa (this one is debatable)

From here onwards, I can't really predict much... First and Socke both went 5-0, Dream did well out of his group and PartinG/YoDa are both great players. Here's my two cents:

First 3-2 Socke
Dream 1-3 PartinG/YoDa

The finals are completely open, but I think PartinG has a slight edge if he makes it, maybe not YoDa though.

Well, at least we have at least 1 foreigner in the semifinals :p

If Grubby can upset Yoda, he might have one of the better chances to upset Parting in a PvP.

Just got home from work and saw the results. Nice to see the "Code S Destroyer" Socke came out to play. Sadly, I don't think we'll be seeing him for another long while

The analysis desk is just perfect for me because I don’t enjoy watching SC2 anymore (HotS is crap, WoL could be good but became stale and is missing important changes) so the analysis is a quick review and a great example of an esports news report done right.

It’s strange to see qxc without the team jacket but I guess it’s a reasonable requirement for the role of an analyst.

Shame m00nglade didn't get through, he played pretty well and beat Dream.
Ganzi beat me without stim. Ostojiy beat me with a nydus. Siphonn beat me with probes. Revival beat my sentry-immortal all-in.

Yea those numbers look terrible but lets put it into context here...

Bly, Tefel, Paranoid, Snute, Moonglade, Vortix, Jookto, and Golden are the zergs that didn't advance

First, Parting, Grubby, Socke, Mana and Daisy are the protosses that advanced

The skill difference between these two line ups is pretty large overall and an easily explain why the Protosses seemed like they were stomping in the matches.

You can't get balance stats from PvZ around Bly vs Parting or Parting vs Tefel.... Parting will win like 99% of those matches doesn't mean P is OP and Z is up.

Not to mention these changes just hit. It's going to take a little while for zergs to adjust their game play and rediscover the mid game after just turtling to hive tech for months

I'd give TLO a much higher chance then 40% to beat Mana with a much lower % chance of beating First though!

That game that followed the dc was the sickest game of 2013 so far. I would definitely recommend it.
Not sure where to find the vod though :/
