But are there any Zergs you think that actually got upset? Other than Kas over Vortix and TLO over Snute (which cancels out), I don't think the representation is too surprising. Take for example the two Korean Zergs, I'd place all the other Koreans before them w/o hesitation.

Agreed. All the Zergs in this tournament are bad except for Nerchio, and he hasn't been in top form lately.

I thought Snute was the next "best foreigner", so now he's bad all of a sudden? Damn, it's hard to keep up.

The patch came out a few days ago, they'll need to adapt like everyone else when a patch hits the game.

He won the "next zerg bonjwa of the month" award in december though.

Don't be silly about the patch and its effects, btw. Infested terrans, by my observation, are most prominent in ZvZ. Some in PvZ but I think most Z's engage P without range upgrade when the first timing hits, and maybe +1 upgrade at most later on. I doubt that'd makes such big difference in the outcome.

Z's played aweful, today. (for those few I got to watch, for example Nerchio v. Yoda)

well, it was pretty close for Vortix and the group was rly hard (i expected him to win vs Daisy even though ZvP was always his worst), jookTo, Snute and Golden kind of dissapointed me.

Honestly the only surprises are Vortix and Golden not making out of their groups, the rest I didn't really expect them to make it to the playoffs.

He hasn't won any major tournament since Homestory cup VI, he is definately in a slump for the last 27 days.

I'm not surprised zergs aren't doing as well after the patch. With less utility from the infestor, zergs are going to have to figure out how new ways to deal with various late game situations instead of the old "MOAR INFERSTERS" approach. That's going to take some time.
