If GOM had given one of the players who went 3-2 the spot without actual reasoning, there would be reason for whining. Now, I don't feel there is. This format has been the same for a year - Jaedong won the head-to-head between the two and MC beat them both. Flash advancing over the guys who beat him; that would be horrible.
I doubt he'll complain though - he'll just work harder while his fans blame the format.

Flash would never accept a free pass either and its been directly stated by him in the past. He was told he was in consideration of a seed but he wouldnt accept getting on his name value alone, believing you have to prove yourself to get to that position.
Yes he destroys everyone when theres a macro game lately unless youre a T or your name is life but he made a blunder and couldnt get to that point. Its a learning experience.

It all comes down to Jaedong vs Flash. God was favored by most estimates, having shown better results in SC2.
But he lost. Better blame him than the format. And of course, praise Jaedong.

Well, if you consider, that Flash isn't that long in SC2, then a Code A spot is great! Eventhough he was the best BW player. Give him some time and we will see him in Code S sure.

Don't bother too much with the roach thing, it was as a compliment of resilience, but if i have to explain it, it's because it was dumb on my part. And i am not a psychiatrist, so i can't really answer you why i have pleasure reading the same complains about OSL at the GSL just because of how biased people is for their favorite players.

The Yoda result was no shock-- he's been performing well lately and if you download the IPL 5 replays you'll see that he's by far the fastest player in SC2.
Flash was obviously favored to come out of the group too, but lost to a couple of all ins. Hopefully JD makes it through Wild Card, though his play hasn't looked nearly as good as Flash's.

He is just insecure as the elephant stampede gets closer and closer, so will take anything that gives comfort with joy.
So Flash didn't make it to Code S this season. It sucks, but no big deal. Flash and other elephants are still progressing at a great pace, as shown with EGTL not having a free ride as initially predicted.

You know the group is hard and the competition is good when this much sobbing occurs. Here's to hoping Jaedong makes it through the Wild Card thingie, and maybe we can expect Flash next season.

I think over a thousand APM is a little too much.
Sad to see Flash not making it, but beating three great players(Yoda+Taeja+Hero)+some good others in one day is no small feat...

As a Flash fan i'm not happy with this result, but this is only temporary issue. What i am happy about is his current SC2 skill. I believe he can face anyone right now and not be an underdog. Just look at the only 2 games out of 9(!) he lost today - aggressive early game pushes. If he is able to survive to mid - late game, he is becoming almost invincible. This reminds me of a certain period of his BW carrier - he was unbeatable in late game if he got there. Then he learned how to defend against everything and became GOD. He is not in the Code S now? With his skill progression, he will win several Code S in coming months.
