I'm Chinese (born in Singapore, but Cantonese in ethnicity/origin) and whenever I do half bowing motions to my aunts and uncles and stuff, they laugh at me. I think it's because they think it's too formal / bowing isn't really a normal thing in Chinese culture / etiquette except in very specific situations. | ||
