Shellshock wasn't around to LR GSL so I assume he has class or something today. opterown also absent. So you're probably gonna have to do it if you can :D

Truth. Hero just recently took out Taeja (who played like his summertime MONSTER form earlier that night) so I'm pretty sure he'll be competitive against classic. Bbyong I'd like to see more games from - I missed his Code A matches last month. Plus effort was all hyped as one of the best incoming players last season, so they have a solid chance to take this to ace.

Effort's ZvZ was beastmode last season. GOGO CJ!
Seriously, at least last season his ZvZ was as good as his ZvP was atrocious, and that's saying quite a lot. I hope when he figures out ZvP it doesn't affect his ZvZ like it's some sort of cosmic balance thing. Alienzerg fighting!
Contain from skyhigh got broken, split map mech vs mech right now. Skyhigh needs to break a tankposition on his 4th though because Last is building his 6th there haha.
I'm sorry if this has already been asked but why are they not playing in the usual SPL studio I have seen so far ? It seems the place where GOM holds the qualifiers for CODE A. Why are they there ?

Spot TV does the weekday broadcasts which are held here, indeed in the same venue where the code A quals are held.

So during weekdays they play over there and during week-ends they play in the PL studio ?
So apparently the Naver plugin needed to watch the SPOTV stream does not work with 64-bit Mozilla browsers. Had to fire up 32-bit Firefox and now it's working.

That's what they are doing in the first place.
No its not, they are recasting a separate stream I'm talking about the official korean stream with korean commentators.
Yeah they are. They are streaming the korean stream with the korean commentators.
When this was announced it was stated that they would be casting off of a "clean feed" which is basically the korean stream minus the Korean commentators' audio. Not sure if that's been the case though.
Skyhigh spawns on bottom, Last spawns on top on Ohana. Skyhigh opens 1/1/1 with banshees, gets three kills but cancels cloak after forcing a turret. Skyhigh also opts to go for a hellion-marine drop into Last's main but kills ~5 scvs before being shut down. Both players go into mech, with Last building a faster 3rd cc but is denied from mining by Skyhigh sieging in between the natural ramp and the third. Skyhigh takes his third during the contain.
...Then the stream goes black and miss most of the game.
Towards the end, Last is on six bases as he secures Skyhigh's fourth as his sixth. Siege lines are set on Skyhigh's side of the map, but in the end, with a superior economy and unit positioning Last breaks through and Skyhigh GGs.

Ah they aren't at least not at this moment. Watching the stream I saw them seeing the korean commentators at the same time I was on the korean stream.
Also when the stream went crappy and stuff both had exact same problems at same times. Pretty sure they are watching the same korean one that GTR linked, but I might be wrong but it did show the korean commentators on there to.

the stream that the English casters are getting is the same video as the korean stream, so it still shows the Korean casters, but all audio has been striped from it, so even when it shows the image of the korean casters, there is no sound from them.

Its still a separate feed AFAIK, but it really doesn't matter since its working now.
And let's not forget that TLO is in Germany watching a stream coming from Korea, and then restreaming it from Germany to the world via Twitch. Hope there will be no internet interruptions in Berlin.
Cant we get Nanashin or one of the oldschool BW pplz to restream the korean feed, we never had any problems with them, and a lot of people want to see Korean casters anyway

Now that the foreign community is being "recognized" and given their own stream, it's probably against twitch/own3d ToS to restream again without permission, no?
Game 2 Recap STX_Innovation (T11) vs CJ_Hydra (Z5) Antiga Shipyard
Innovation spawns top left, while Hydra spawns bottom right. Hydra was having some computer issues before the game. Innovation opens cc first while Hydra goes for hatch first.
Innovation goes up to three rax by 6:30. Reactor finishes for the factory. Hydra takes his third in the meantime. Hydra focuses on ling in the early game, getting 1-1 melee and carapace.
With 2 medivacs, Innovation moves out with marines and hellions. Hydra reacts by sending lings and banelings and engagement occurs in the center. The banelings goes off the creep and Innovation's splitting and kite clear the army without a problem.
Innovation pushes straight into the natural of Hydra. Twelve mutas pop out but they cannot repel the push, and Hydra GGs.
STX 2-0 CJ
Personal Note: Bogus on Antiga vs a mediocre zerg…isn't that over doing it a bit too much? lol.
On December 18 2012 18:01 DwD wrote: Wtf was that Hydra... So bad...
Did he just expect Bogus not to split his marines?
I think he wanted to surround the entire terran ball and get his banelings. But unfortunately, the hellions were in front. But it was a stupid decision to do it off creep.
Game 3 Recap STX_Trap (P1) vs CJ_Bbyong (T7) Planet S
Trap spawns on top right, while Bbyong spawns on bottom left.
Bbyong takes one gas at thirteen supply. Depot wall denies any scouting, and opts to go for 1/1/1. Trap goes for an expansion after cybernetics core while getting the robo simultaneously. Bbyong makes a bunker by the natural choke to fake an expansion while adding another rax. 1 banshee is out to harass, but no cloak in sight.
Trap's observer scouts the natural, sees no expansion and immediately chrono boosts an immortal out. Bbyong salvages his bunker and with three tanks, two banshee, one raven, a good number of marines and scvs pushes as siege mode is about half way done. Trap immediately scouts the move out, and attempts to delay the push with force fields.
As siege mode finishes, Bbyong engages Trap's army near the natural choke of Trap. One PDD goes down, forcefields as well, but in the end Trap could not take out the siege tanks out before losing most of his immortals, and is forced to back off away from his natural. Bbyong pushes into the natural and takes out the nexus as well as most of the probes. Trap attempts a one last flank on Bbyong's army as it goes up the main ramp, but with one PDD going down and an overwhelming number of marines, Trap is forced to GG out.

There was some info on that this past week. But yeah they are switching to Hots the round after the release. (i thin it was the 3rd Round)

They switch at the first opportunity they get, of course.

Judging a proleague, tournament-only, pro-player only map by it's ladder potential is kind of like judging a starcraft player on how good he is at Call of Duty.
Game 4 Recap STX_Classic (T1) vs CJ_herO (P7) Bifrost
Classic spawns top right, while herO spawns bottom left.
Classic goes CC first. herO scouts it without a problem by taking the back ledge. Classic follows it up with triple barracks, while herO goes 1 gate expand with a robo follow up.
The terran moves out with five marines headed towards the ledge. A bigger group of marines start to move out as well. herO adds 5 more gateways and a dark shrine.
With a warp prism, herO warps in 4 dts outside of Classic's main, and ports them into Classic's natural and main. Dts took out depots and 24 SCVs. Zealots in herO's main denies a drop. Classic attempts a counter attack, but is easily thwarted by colossi and couple of good forcefields. Economically and army wise, herO is virtually unscratched. Classic attempts to drop with four medivacs, but sandwiched between stalkers and colossi, one one survives, putting the medivac count down to zero. herO's third finishes in the meantime, while Classic lifts his third CC away in anticipation of an attack.
herO continuously harasses, takes out an engineering bay, while switching to high templars. herO wants to engage in the middle of the map on Classic's side of the bridges, but Classic sets up a good concave and with good kiting takes out most of the zealots, forcing herO to retreat. No ghosts yet for Classic.
herO double expands behind this and is on five bases. A huge engagement occurs in the same place as before, where Classic barely wins the engagement, after taking at least ten storms. herO, however, with a much better economy and a three robo production is able to remax very quickly and pushes, storming his way into Classic's main, and Classic taps out.

Yes but he has only won 4 matches so far.
Then it's at least +1 extra point.
Yeah, it was awarded with his win yesterday. Don't think you get another based on his 4th and 5th, only every 3rd win adds on +1 point

They can't, how would they be able to control that when they are getting a feed form Korea, they are basically restreamig it with their commentary.
hmm, potential for mass points for me: i have bogus and hyvva on my team, if hyvva wins and bogus wins the acematch i get some serious points^^ (2 wins, ace win, 3win streak)
Game 5 Recap STX_Dear (P1) vs CJ_Bong (P7) Caldeum
Dear spawns top right, while Bong spawns bottom left.
Standard opener with 12 gate, and one gas core follow up. Timings are slightly faster for Bong. Both players go for a similar tech route, straight into twilight counsil with two additional gates. Blink is about 1/3 faster for Bong.
Bong moves into Dear's main with five stalkers, and takes out stalkers and zealots along the way. Probes are pulled, and is able to surround them as blink had not finished yet, and holds. Bong however follows it up with another huge group of stalkers, blinks up the ramp to avoid the forcefield from Dear's sentries and Dear has to GG out.
STX 2-3 CJ
CJ takes the lead, with EffOrt in a ZvZ in Game 6. Things are looking well for CJ.

Game 6 Recap STX_hyvaa (Z7) vs CJ_EffOrt (Z1) Cloud Kingdom
Hyvaa spawns bottom left, while EffOrt spawns top right.
EffOrt goes hatch first while Hyvaa goes for 14 pool into hatch. EffOrt takes a gas as he starts his pool. Hyvaa gets his slightly later. EffOrt starts ling speed immediately while Hyvaa opts for a roach warren first. Baneling nest is done for EffOrt. A zergling slips into Hyvaa's main and sees the roaches. Both players start +1 range upgrade. However, hyvaa starts his roach speech earlier, while EffOrt starts +1 carapace.
At 10:20, hyvaa decides to do a massive roach push into EffOrt's natural. EffOrt does not have many roaches, and is forced to pull drones. Although he defends the first wave, he loses most of the drones at his natural, and was is forced to cancel his third. hyvaa keeps pressure for a while, but backs out eventually to take a third. EffOrt gets burrow for health regen, and contaminates hyvaa's eve chamber researching Range +2.
Hyvaa decides to put pressure again as EffOrt takes his third. Hyvaa baits EffOrt's roach army down the third base ramp, and flanks the army from the side and behind. EffOrt is pushed back into his natural as his third falls. Hyvaa's infesters are out and just as the first fungals are cast on the roaches by EffOrt's natural ramp, GG is called.

Innovation spawns bottom right, while EffOrt spawns top right.
Innovation goes for an 11/11 proxy rax in the middle of the map. EffOrt by the draw of terrible luck goes for 15 hatch, 16 pool and gas.
A bunker goes down at the natural, and starts hacking away. Innovation goes to bunker on the main, but Innovation gets over eager and half of his marines are trapped by drones and lings, and the bunker goes down as well. The natural falls, but EffOrt opts to go for a ling run by as ling speed finishes and takes out every single SCV in Innovation's base as the depot wall consisted of only one depot, forcing a GG from Innovation.
I should add that my point was that people consider KeSPA players to be the second coming of Jesus but they aren't as good as people think they are.
