It is available on twitch channel if you subscribed to PL for 5 bucks. Is that for hd streaming/voids, or is it only for se vods Everything in HD. It's quite a steal, really. PL has been free to me for the past decade, it shouldn't change now just because some poor english commentary with poor sound is taking place. What a ridiculous thing to say. A decade ago, the only way to see BW games was via sub-240p .rm VODs on broodwar.com. Livestreaming was completely unheard of and many were still saddled with 56k internet. People recorded FPVODs with camtasia and then had to manually encode the several-GB raw video file into something that could be uploaded. The first chance most of us had to even download a proleague VOD was the old TL DC++ hub in 2004ish. In fact, proleague didn't even exist 10 years ago. All you've done is prove that you weren't around back then. Now, since when is TL producing PPV content. This is rather dissapointing to me i must say. Im gonna watch korean vods then. where did u get ppv from...? free live stream Interesting perspective. TL Business agenda for TSL5!1.) Host all matches live "free" in Korean time slots inconvenient for foreigners 2.) Fans with jobs can't watch live 3.) Charge $5 for VODs 4.)??? 5.) Profit with a "technically free" stream maybe they can call kespa and make them play all the matches at 3am kst Or maybe they could restream the games at a better time, just like IPL, Onemoregame or NASAL do
As someone who has paid for the subscription, this is a good idea.
Damn it khan >_<

You can't afford $5 for 7 months of content? Skip the starbucks tomorrow and spend it on Proleague instead, come on now It's basically free.

It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I don't see why they have any right to charge for it. This wasn't in the announcement, look to the right of the web page; IGN is rebroadcasting again, are they charging money for unlimited years of content? no. So why should a participating team do so? It just feels like this is geared towards making money instead of improving the community.

It's not their right, it's not their content. Please have a basic understanding of international law before you start spouting your opinion as fact, and I really hope that you're not twelve years old or this conversation is pointless. It costs a minimal amount of money to take KESPA's stream and add audio content to it, just to let you know. Profit is not necessarilly put towards improvement of product either, it's up to the firm what they do with it.

It just feels like this is geared towards making money instead of improving the community. it is their right to charge 5 dollars for it. it costs people time and money to produce. it is however not your right to recieve it for free. also, basically nobody is making money in this scene. and even if they did, what would be the harm? it would go towards producing better content for us. so dont make excuses just buy it. It's not their right, it's not their content. Please have a basic understanding of international law before you start spouting your opinion as fact, and I really hope that you're not twelve years old or this conversation is pointless. It costs a minimal amount of money to take KESPA's stream and add audio content to it, just to let you know. Profit is not necessarilly put towards improvement of product either, it's up to the firm what they do with it.
you are not entitled to free content

maybe they can call kespa and make them play all the matches at 3am kst
Or maybe they could restream the games at a better time, just like IPL, Onemoregame or NASAL do but there are vods Which require a subscription to be viewed so why cant you pay 5 dollars? Because I'm a student and dont really have 5$ to pay. Plus this isn't a TL organised event. And the korean vods are free so why shouldn't the english ones be? This has nothing to do with tl other than the fact that they are participating in it and have decided to get some english casters. Everything could be fixed if they just gave full monopoly to sayle . though i doubt that he would want to cast sc2 ;o. It just feels like this is geared towards making money instead of improving the community. it is their right to charge 5 dollars for it. it costs people time and money to produce. it is however not your right to recieve it for free. also, basically nobody is making money in this scene. and even if they did, what would be the harm? it would go towards producing better content for us. so dont make excuses just buy it. So, it is the content of the people who put up the 5$ subscription.

Down with Khan! Happy to see a great team sweeped by E&L

Wow I missed this, for shame

I have to say I have found my interest in watching SC2 decline greatly over the past six months or so, but I have been so friggen excited and stayed up at ungodly hours to watch every single EG/TL match.
nerd chills every match so far, especially being up 2 - 0 in the last match. My interest has been rekindled.

now if they could only make the vods spoiler free....

I laugh how you're posting this on the internet, on a very site that provides a humongous amount of FREE information and content. Thanks for making me laugh. Continue spending your allowance on video game channels, making esports about money is definately helping it!
Oh if Kespa set the 5$ then yeah I understand it, however I find it odd that foreigners are charged this price when for so many years proleague has been a free to watch event...
Whatever I've made my opinion clear and will just quit while I'm ahead. It's a shame to see this but shit happens.

last time i checked vlc link still works albeit low quality, korean hd stream is not listed as before (it doesnt work sometimes i noticed)
i avoid english streams and download(pirate) korean vods when they become available, the copyright issue which does not allow korean stream from ogn/kespa and gom is disappointing, very disappointing.
youtube link says "not allowed in your country" but i'm not sure if this is dependent on time or not as some vods work and some vods dont.
